I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but......
...I recently had a customer that wanted to book a holiday to Japan and as part of their holiday, they wanted to visit the Snow Monkeys. They had seen their cute little faces on TV having a great time in the hot springs and wanted to experience this for themselves.

As an advocate of responsible tourism, this is one of the many animal related activities that I do not promote. There are exceptions to every rule and usually these involve not-for-profit organisations or sanctuaries for animals that cannot be returned to the wild but they are still wild animals. As your Travel Counsellor, it is part of my job to help you navigate which excursions exploit animals and which do not.

Here are just some of the other activities I do not promote.
Swimming with Dolphins, Turtle release programs, riding/washing elephants, Tiger petting/selfies, wildlife performances to name a few.

Morning from a sunny but chilly Monday!

A very easy city to explore on foot. Could easily visit as a city break for the weekend or combine with Würzberg for a longer stay. It's also one of the stops you'll find on a River Cruise journey.

Definitely worth a visit!
