Our next stop was to visit the famous Urquart Castle constructed between the thirteenth and sixteenth century.

It is situated on a very strategic point overlooking Loch Ness for protection during the wars of independence.

The castle became under the stewardship of Clan Grant despite on numerous occasions being attacked by the MacDonald Clan.

It is now a ruin which is visited by nearly half a million tourists every year .

Highlights of one of my team Mitchell’s tour with his lovely American clients who had an awesome time with him.
The extended tour took in Edinburgh, South Queensferry, Scone Palace, GlenTurrett distillery, Braemar Highland Games, Salmon Ladder in Pitlochry, Cluny gardens in Aberfeldy, Highland safari, Doune Castle and the kelpies.
That’s an awesome itinerary for the 4 days touring ❤️☀️.

Today was a scenic tour to take in Loch Morlich on the Rothiemuchas estate near Aviemore with my clients from Washington State.
They visited the Falconry centre for a demonstration and saw some of the Scottish reindeer on the estate before heading up to Inverness. ❤️☀️
