On our ancestry tour yesterday I took my amazing Canadian clients down to the village of Wark in Northumberland to trace their family history.
We found St Michael’s Church and wandered round the cemetery looking for associated head stones.
On the journey down we visited Jedburgh Abbey and after the famous Anwick castle where the Harry Potter film “The Philosophers Stone was made as well as some of the Downton Abbey series.😃

Lovely day yesterday with my Outlander fans where we visited Midhope Castle, Blackness Castle,Doune Castle and the Kelpies before a stop to see the hairy coos 🐮😁

Yesterday with my lovely American guests we enjoyed a top lunch at the Culloden House Hotel followed by a run up to the Diageo owned Singleton whisky distillery just north of Inverness.
After a couple of tasters it was back to the city for some retail therapy.
Today on our way to Glasgow we stopped at Fort Augustus to watch the sail boats travelling down the locks on the Caledonian canal.
We were most fortunate as Nessie decided to pay us a visit appearing in between the sail boats 💪😂😮.

A lovely warm day with a clear blue sky.
Today’s tour was a trip through to Stirling Castle and the Wallace monument.
We then travelled through to the village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond and finally took a boat trip with Sweeney Boat Cruises from the village of Balloch.☀️

Another Beautiful day for a VIP pickup from Abbotsford house which can be found not too far from the town of Melrose in the Scottish borders.
The house was the former residence of our famous poet and novelist Sir Walter Scott born 15th August 1771 and died 21st September 1832.
Drop off was the Intercontinental George Hotel in Edinburgh☀️😃

Today I took my American clients to Blair Atholl Whisky distillery in Pitlochry.
The distillery is one of the many owned by Diageo established in 1798.
The walk up to the visitor centre is stunning with many beautiful trees and flowers.
The whisky is not too bad either. ❤️🥃
