Continuing my Norwegian Fjords albums from my weeks sailing on Queen Mary 2 - the world’s only true ocean liner - these are photos from Skjolden.

Skjolden is tiny, peaceful and surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery of the whole itinerary.

Waking up here felt like sailing straight into a postcard- mountains on every side, still water and that quiet, untouched beauty Norway does so well.

This was the second port of call and one of the most memorable for its calm, its scenery and the feeling of being right in the heart of the fjords.

I’m back after an incredible week sailing on Queen Mary 2 - the world’s only true ocean liner - on a Norwegian Fjords itinerary 🇳🇴🚢

As you can imagine and if you know me well, you’ll know I’ve taken a lot of photos, so I’m sharing the port by port.

First stop: Stavanger.
A beautiful mix of colourful streets, harbour views and that first taste of Norway’s scenery 🌊🏔️

With everything going on right now, this is exactly why I always say… think carefully before booking flights and hotels separately ✈️🏖️

When flights are cancelled or disrupted, the level of protection is completely different compared to booking everything separately.

Package holidays offer far more protection if things don’t go to plan, and that peace of mind is worth everything.

It’s not about scare tactics, it’s about making sure you’re covered properly 🔐
