Message me to book direct or check dates Set on the 5* holiday village, The Bay, just outside Filey, our cottage sleeps 4 and is the perfect place for a relaxing stay for couples, friends or a small family, together with up to 2 family pets. A modern mid terraced cottage with a surprisingly spacious interior. Downstairs has an open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen, dining area and comfy sofa and chair, and has French doors out to the patio area. There is also a separate entrance hallway with a downstairs toilet. Upstairs has a family bathroom with shower over the bath, and 2 bedrooms, one with king-size bed and the 2nd with 2 small doubles (only for single use, we ask that the maximum occupancy is 4 people)

The resort has plenty to keep everyone happy. There is a free to use onsite swimming pool and gym, tennis courts, table tennis, boules courts, football pitch and children's play area, along with a range of paid for activities such as archery or teddy bear making. The on-site pub offers everything from breakfast to yummy pub meals and is dog and child friendly. Just a 10 minute stroll along a private path brings you to the award winning Filey Bay beach, a 5 mile stretch of dog friendly beach where you can walk all the way into Filey, the nearest town, with a traditional seaside vibe. Also within a few minutes drive you will find the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough.

Well, let me just say, next time someone says I'm too expensive and it's cheaper to go abroad I'm going to tell them exactly how it's not🤣🤣

Not only is the cost of the holiday per person, free child places are really not that easy to find and then you only get 1 even if taking 2 children! So when you consider you pay one price for the cottage for up to 4 people and 2 dogs, our cottage is definitely value for money!

Then you have to add on transfers and baggage and reserved seats on the plane! Oh yes and airport parking while you are away, or a VERY expensive taxi to take you there!
Here you get free parking, and there's definitely no extra charge for baggage or seats, its just the cost of your petrol to get you here!

Oh and I nearly forgot the best bit - no kennel fees, forget the cost and the stress of putting your dog in kennels - bring them with you for free!!

OK I have to admit the weather might be better abroad, but we have had such a lovely summer that even that argument isn't as valid as it used to be, and having just come back from Italy where we had some terrific thunder storms and torrential rain all I can say is it isn't always lovely abroad 🤣🤣

So before you jump on that plane for your next holiday just think how much money you can save and come enjoy our wonderful North Yorkshire Coastline!!

⚠️ Whitby residents woke up in shock this morning after discovering the town’s famous whale bones have been replaced overnight with a giant set of McDonald’s Golden Arches 😲

North Yorkshire Council have reportedly agreed to a temporary sponsorship deal with the global burger chain while the new bronze replacements are being made 🤝

Council bosses say the unusual advertising deal will help cover the cost of the new landmark, while a spokesman for McDonald’s, Donald Mackroneld, described Whitby as 'The perfect location for a future restaurant' with some locals fearing the rumours about Whitby Abbey being demolished and replaced with a McDonalds Drive Thru and large car park could now be true! 😞

A whitby resident, Dorothy Smith 77, spoke to the press, and made her feelings known 'I hate it. It's not in keeping with the area at all. Bring back the whale b***r!' 🐋

However Dorothy's grandson, Archibald Smith, 14 disagreed with his moaning old grandmother and said 'I prefer it, it's a bit more modern and really brightens up the area. I'm loving it." 😍
