Well its been a busy Spring here at Sunset Beach, the weather has just been amazing. The Festival last weekend had the Island buzzing.

We are fully booked till September when we have some availabilty and it is the best time to visit the Island, its quieter but the weather is still really warm and there is still so much to do on the Island.

Isle of Wight Walking Festival 🌞

Walk this way! The Isle of Wight Walking Festival, is a multi-award-winning Festival. As one of the UK’s longest-running walking festivals, it celebrated its 25th year in 2024.

The dates for 2025 have been announced, so save the dates:

· Spring Festival 10 to 18 May 2025
· October Festival 4 to 12 October 2025

An event for keen hikers, relaxed wanderers, and curious explorers alike, the festival is a friendly coming together in the great outdoors for all ages, offering a chance to meet new people, learn and discover the many wonders of the Wight.

With a plethora of routes on offer to suit all abilities, the Isle of Wight Walking Festival is an inclusive event providing a guided tour through the Island’s varied landscape, thriving wildlife and rich heritage.

This friendly festival hosts a variety of walks led by knowledgeable volunteer walk leaders. You’ll easily find a walk that suits you – whether you’re looking for a shorter stroll or a day long hike across the Island. There will be themed walks too.

Over half the Isle of Wight is an Isle of Wight National Landscape (formerly known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the Island is a UNESCO Bisosphere Reserve. Add 500 miles of well-maintained and signposted footpaths and you’ll see why the Isle of Wight is the perfect place for a walking festival.

The Isle of Wight Walking Festival is easy to get to, whether for a day or longer stay. The majority of walks are free, why not grab your gear and explore the Island.

Well what's NEW?

I can tell you that we have changed our holiday agent to a company that has more of a local expertise and we are excited to work with them.

We have completed the garden make-over, laid a lovely new fence at the front and been caring for the lawn which is work in progress.

As from Easter we will lockable racks for those keen cyclists and we have re-tiled the back lobby so that cyclists, walkers and those with wheelchairs or mums with prams can store your gear safely.

We have many repeat customers again this year and the calendar is busy.

Well we have completed our garden make over, it will look fabulous when Spring arrives, but these little beauties are showing their lovely heads. We are so lucky to have so many of these at Sunset Beach.
