Always wanted to take the kids to Lapland but the longer breaks were out of budget?

You can now take them on a day trip and fly from Glasgow or Edinburgh, one day, and home for bedtime!

These exclusive daybreaks include a familiar host of winter activities: snowmobiling, husky sledding, and a reindeer sleigh ride – the taster activities are a perfect way to sample the delights of this winter wonderland. And this adventure in Lapland would not be complete without a visit to see Santa himself. Of course, this is a private family meeting (you’ve come a long way to see him!)

Far away from the commercial, mass-tourist resort of Rovaniemi, you will guests experience TRUE Lapland – a picture perfect winter wonderland where snow-capped forests frame glistening frozen lakes, and the snow stretches to the horizon.

Let it Snow! daybreaks will take place in Pajala, a quiet enclave of Swedish Lapland. Transun’s own charter flight will be the only flight that day giving a stress-free adventure deep in the Arctic Circle. Thermal suits and snow boots are provided, as is a hot warming lunch.

Whilst onboard Ambassador Cruise Line Ambience at the weekend we were given a tour of the bridge and met Captain Hugh and his first and second officers, they explained how the bridge runs and how various machines/dials and diagrams run to successfully sail a ship, how much fuel the ship can take and how much it burns whilst sailing ,we also got some insight to their experience and what type of vessels they have they previously worked on...very privileged to have been shown around and for them to take time to speak to us , definitely a hilight of the trip for me!

The observatory.....This space on Ambassador Cruise Line Ambience was one of my favourite spots on the ship....By day, relax, read a book, watch the world go by whilst sitting at one of the many floor to ceiling windows, have a coffee or a cocktail or even a mid afternoon boogie to the Triade band.....By night it comes alive...Dj's, live bands and Silent disco's...there is literally music for everyone and the dance floor was full all night every night!! And the dress code? Wear whatever your comfortable in! We had 3 amazing nights here and I need to give a special thank you to Edward who looked after us all weekend taking and delivering our drinks orders and making sure we felt well looked after , your hard work didn't go unrecognised 💜

What an amazing time we had on Saturday, thanks to our hosts at Ambassador Cruise Line for organising this excursion , driving Vintage Citroën 2cv cars around the town of Honfleur and thank you La Normandie en 2CV for a once in a lifetime experience 💙 and for trusting us not to wreck your cars lol
