For me, nothing beats the feeling of getting away from everyday life and exploring both new places and rediscovering firm favourites. Before becoming a Travel Counsellor, I worked for some of the biggest names in leisure such as Virgin, Marriott Vacation Club, Captivating Cuba and Disneyland Paris. I recently spent some months working onboard the P&O Cruise ship Azura and the world-famous luxurious Queen Mary II Ocean Liner.

The Staten Island Ferry runs 24 hours from Whitehall Terminal, no ticket needed. Passes Liberty Island at close range and continues to Ellis Island. Sit right side going out for the Statue, left side coming back for the Manhattan skyline. Locals commute this way.
