And this is genuinely my primary thought when I’m looking at holidays for next summer…

Now I could post a cruise deal, but let’s be fair you can look at those yourself online.

Let’s talk about the cost of travelling during the school holidays… 👀

Standard land-based package holidays for 2027 have already started creeping up in price, so I’ve been thinking about something a little different.

And honestly, these days
I need a holiday that doesn’t completely knacker me!

I’ve never actually been on a cruise before, but the more I think about it, the more I can see the appeal.

With chronic fatigue, the thought of getting on board, unpacking once, and then being taken to lovely places without having to organise the next hotel, transfer, restaurant, activity etc… sounds pretty bloody lovely.
Especially with a 4-year-old.

There’s entertainment and activities on board, something for everyone, meals and so much included in the price, and you can still get off and explore independently if you want to.

Basically… see somewhere different, but without the holiday itself feeling like another mission.

And when you look at the cost of summer holidays, I’m starting to think a cruise offers some seriously good value for money too.

AND they are growing in popularity with families.

So yes, I’m seriously considering it for next summer. I just haven’t told Marcus yet. 😂
