We got completely hooked on this traditional bean-sowing game, especially with a sundowner and an African sunset thrown in! 🌅🍹

So addictive, we even bought a board to bring home and keep the memories (and the competition!) going. ❤️

I still can’t believe how close this beautiful lioness came to our vehicle. ❤️

In that moment, we all fell completely silent, held our breath and simply watched in awe as she moved closer and closer. It was one of those incredible wildlife encounters where time seemed to stand still — all we could do was quietly take it in and capture the moment.

And despite being so close to such a magnificent animal, I never once felt scared. I had complete trust in our incredible guides, Martin and Malusi who made us feel safe and allowed us to experience this unforgettable encounter with the respect and calm that the wildlife deserves.

This is exactly why I love safari — you never quite know what you’re going to experience, but the memories stay with you forever.
