How is that day 2 of the Anne Lister Festival 2026 finished already..?? - thank you, again, for all of your support 🙏🎩.
So now - Day 3!
We have some amazing events once again, and some still have a few tickets remaining, including Shibden Tower & Tunnel tour in the morning.
And tomorrow late afternoon, in ALHQ, aka the AL Hub: don’t miss the opportunity to come along and hear Calderdale’s own women’s history expert Jill Liddington - in person!
Jill will be talking all things ‘Women Up North’ - including of course our very own and , but also the Ladies of Llangollen, Emily Bronte - and she also touches on the suffragettes/suffragists; phew! - you absolutely don’t want to miss this whistlestop talk!

It’s here, friends: day 1 of the Anne Lister Festival 2026!! - and we can’t wait to see you, whenever that can be.
If it is today, or anytime this week then come along to ALHQ/aka the AL Hub where you will find a friendly welcome, info, Anne Lister of Halifax merch - and just the chance to meet up with our community and other festival-goers!
