The Paralia Diamond hotel skirts Perivolos Beach – a volcanic sand and shingle number topped with sunbeds and palm thatched parasols. If you can tear yourself away from your sunbathing spot by the Aegean Sea, stretch your legs with a 15-minute walk into Perissa – there are lots of restaurants, bars and cafes on route.

Back at the hotel, guests are welcomed with friendliness and Greek hospitality. The pool area is a great place to chill out during the day – it’s edged by loungers and parasols, and there’s a bar for drinks and snacks. You’ll also find loungers down on the beach, if you prefer to sunbathe with the sound of the sea as your soundtrack.

Rooms here are stylish and modern, decorated in a palette of white and grey. Each one has a private bathroom, and some come with a private balcony or terrace. They’re also kitted out with air conditioning to keep you cool during the hot summer months.
