44 High Street, St David's

44 High Street, St David's 44 High Street is a wonderful holiday home that sleeps 8 people located in the heart of St David's, Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

44 High Street is a wonderful, Grade II listed house, dating back to the 1850’s, one of a pair built from the beautiful, rich, coloured stone of the Cathedral of St Davids. Set right in the heart of this bustling tiny city, all its shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs are just yards from your door. Renovated throughout, it retains all its original charm with beams, exposed stone walls and featur

e fire places, it is furnished in a stylish mix of antique pieces with a modern twist. The hallway which gives plenty of space for coats and walking boots leads to the lounge/diner with its wonderful wooden floor, cosy sofas and the wood burning stove ensures cosy evenings. Double doors open through to the well-equipped, modern, fitted kitchen, allowing you to enjoy open plan living. A French door leads out to the rear courtyard with steps up to a raised paved patio, a lovely spot to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and gives easy access to the rear parking. Stairs from the lounge lead up to the characterful bedrooms above with the 2 on the top floor nestling in the eaves. Conveniently situated with all the facilities on your doorstep, spend time visiting the Cathedral and exploring the ruins of the Bishops Palace, the beach at Caerfai is less than a 1 mile walk away or Whitesands Beach renowned for surfing with both experts and beginners alike is only a short car trip. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning, rugged coast with its picturesque coves. There is something for everyone, a boat trip to Ramsey Island should not be missed especially in September to see the seal pups and be amazed by the bird and wild life.

44 High Street is a welcoming holiday home for families and friends to get away.

Pembrokeshire is getting a lot of airtime for its foodie scene, and it’s not hard to see why. Let’s tuck in...

– reopening soon!

What to eat in Pembrokeshire? A-Grade waters ensure our fishing partners bring in an abundance of lobster, crab and meaty finfish alongside our own rope-grown mussels. Welsh seaweed has a unique umami flavour – we recommend "truffle-of-the-sea" pepper dulse. Be sure to try Pembrokeshire potatoes, cheese from and meat and eggs from Treithel Farm. We recommend ordering and don’t miss

Why eat in Pembrokeshire? Because we boast such superb produce, eating in Pembrokeshire means fresh ingredients grown and harvested by our local community. What’s more, many ingredients - like fresh shellfish and organic vegetables - have a high nutritional value that’s lauded by top chefs for its quality.

Who are Pembrokeshire’s foodie champions? We’re lucky to have local people flying the flag for Pembrokeshire produce. Give a follow to see all the good work Jonathan Williams does. Check out to discover the best wild ingredients. Head to the for an award-winning, sustainably produced pint. And visit our neighbours for edible insects.

How can you enjoy Pembrokeshire’s foodie scene?
