Wimberries! Aka bilberries.
Our foraging chef Jon Morrell has been up on the Preseli Hills on our annual hunt for these beautiful little wild berries. It’s a labour of love, and you won’t catch many restaurants serving these anymore!

BEAUTIFUL BOTANICALS! 🌼

On Wednesday we held our first Botanical Printing workshop with Susan D Martin Natural Dyeing and it was a great success! I don't think I need to say too much as the beautiful photos of the participants' creations speak for themselves! 😍

A massive thank you/diolch yn fawr to all who came along! Susan will be running another one in September, along with a Tataki Zome Flower Hammering workshop!

Due to a shortage of kitchen staff, we’re pressing pause on brunch for now.
But we’re still here serving coffee, homemade cakes, and evening dinners every Wednesday to Saturday.

RED ALERT! 🚨☀️

Feeling HOT HOT HOT?! 🥵 We've got some beautiful weather on the way this weekend (don't disappoint us Metoffice!), so this is your little reminder to take the necessary precautions to ensure that you don't end up exceptionally red!

However, we've got you covered! If you do end up a little pink, the good news is our Skin Soothing Seaweed Gel is...well...incredibly soothing! It can be used on the body and the face, and harnesses the moisturising, calming properties of seaweed, along with the natural soothing properties of aloe vera! We've also added in some lavender and lemon essential oils to give it an uplifting boost 🙃

SOCIAL MEDIA SWITCH UP! 🌱

We're making a few changes to the way we do our 'socials' moving forwards! Until now, Abbie has been trying to cover all areas of our multi-faceted, ever-growing independent business...however, there just aren't enough hours in the day to do it all!

So we're doing something a little more unique (we like to do things differently here) and splitting the role! Introducing some very familiar Really Wild faces, and the new social media team from left to right *drum roll please*...

Abbie (Production & Communications Manager) - expect posts containing insights into some of our natural, handmade soap & skincare products, hedgerow foraging facts and our new workshops! We're sure there'll be a few random ones thrown in for good measure too!

Sioned (Front-of-House Manager) - expect posts showcasing our renowned rustic-restaurant and all it has to offer, our unique and characterful ensuite accommodation rooms, and maybe a few extra clips from 'behind the scenes'!

Jon (Foraging Head Chef) - expect posts to highlight all things seaweed! Including information about our seashore forages and upcoming cookery demos! There might even be some recipe hints and tips too 😉
