Where did you watch the eclipse? We went on an amazing 90 minute trip from St Justinian’s (outside of St David’s) that took in spectacular Ramsey Sound in full flow as we waited for the moon to move in front of the sun. This is The Bi***es, a string of rocks that used to link Ramsey Island to the mainland but now form an incredible sight as the waters churn and flow. Takes some skill to navigate, and to kayak!

🌘 SOLAR ECLIPSE TRIP – BY POPULAR DEMAND! 🌊🐬

6:15 pm – Eclipse Begins:
The Moon will first begin to touch and cover the edge of the Sun.7:12 pm
– Maximum Peak: This is the absolute best time to watch. The Moon will obscure roughly 90% to 94% of the Sun, causing a noticeable drop in light and temperature that will feel like dawn or dusk.8:06 pm

– Eclipse Ends: The Moon completely moves away from the Sun’s disk, concluding the event.

What a fantastic day we had welcoming Lizzie Daly – Welsh wildlife biologist, broadcaster, filmmaker and conservationist – back on board with us!

We first met Lizzie a few years ago while filming on our boats with BBC Radio 2's Michael Ball, so it was a pleasure to have her back out on the water once again.
