Well guys, this is it — The Great West Run Exeter.

Firstly, I can’t tell you how proud I am of Dan, who has committed so much time, effort, and passion into preparing you all for this epic challenge. He has given every one of you the inspiration and determination to turn up, train hard, and put yourselves in the best possible position to succeed today.

Step by step, with enthusiasm, encouragement, and passion, he has guided you through this journey — and I have absolutely no doubt that every single one of you will complete the Great West Run.

But today is about more than just running. It’s about commitment, teamwork, resilience, and proving to yourselves what you are truly capable of achieving. Every early morning, every training session, every mile you’ve pushed through has led you to this moment.

So enjoy it. Take in the atmosphere, support one another, and remember just how far you’ve all come to be standing here today.

Run with pride, run with determination, and most importantly, enjoy every second of it.

Good luck everyone — you’ve worked for this, you deserve this, and you’ve absolutely got this!
