🚗 Parking in Henley – A Handy Reminder

Planning a visit to Henley? Before you park, take a moment to check the sign nearest to your vehicle, as parking restrictions can vary across the High Street and surrounding roads.

One rule that can sometimes cause confusion is “No return within 4 hours.”

Where this restriction applies, it means you can’t return within four hours after leaving your parking space. Depending on the parking zone, this may also include moving to another nearby parking bay.

Checking the sign before you leave your vehicle can help avoid an unexpected Penalty Charge Notice and ensure you enjoy a stress-free visit.

🦇 Bat Walk at St Mary’s Churchyard, Oldberrow 🌙

Looking for something a little different to do this summer?

Join a free guided Bat Walk at St Mary’s Churchyard, Oldberrow on Thursday 31 July, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. Led by experts from the Warwickshire Biological Records Centre, you’ll use bat detectors to discover the fascinating bats that call Oldberrow home. Bat Walk Oldberrow.pdf

The event is part of the Churchyard Biodiversity and Heritage Project, which is helping to make churchyards richer places for wildlife, heritage and people. The project is delivered by the Diocese of Coventry in partnership with Caring for God’s Acre and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

🎉 A Weekend of Celebration in Henley-in-Arden 🎉

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Henley has plenty to offer!

Today, the town is celebrating Court Leet Day with a packed programme of traditions, entertainment, community activities and local history.

Then tomorrow (Sunday 7 June), Henley Market celebrates its 🎂 1st Birthday 🎂 at the White Swan Car Park from 10am to 3pm.

Expect fantastic local traders, delicious food, family entertainment and a great community atmosphere.

Whether you’re visiting for Court Leet Day, the Market, or both, it’s a wonderful chance to support local businesses and enjoy everything our historic town has to offer.
