🌙✨ £472 RAISED FOR NORTH DEVON HOSPICE! ✨🌙

We are absolutely delighted to announce that the donations made for our solar eclipse glasses raised an incredible £472 for North Devon Hospice. 💛

The glasses were available to passengers joining our special eclipse trips aboard Ilfracombe Princess, Ilfracombe Sea Safari and Wild Frontier Charters—and your generosity completely exceeded our expectations!

North Devon Hospice is a wonderful local charity providing specialist care and support, completely free of charge, to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. Its dedicated team cares for patients at the hospice and in their own homes, while also providing counselling, emotional support and bereavement care for families during incredibly difficult times.

The hospice makes such an important difference to people throughout our local community, so we are extremely proud that a memorable evening on the water has also helped support its vital work.

A huge thank you to every passenger who donated, purchased glasses and helped us raise this fantastic amount. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🫶🏻

WEATHER DAY! 💨☔️

Due to strong winds forecasted for Thursday 20th August, we will not be sailing.

Our staff are having a well deserved day off.

💛 We’ll be back out on the water on Friday 21st August! 👍

This is the ugly reality of crabbing in our harbour. 🦀

Discarded nets, buckets and endless lengths of line are polluting our water, trapping marine life and becoming tangled around boat propellers—causing costly damage and potentially putting vessels and passengers at risk.

Crabbing may seem like harmless family fun, but leaving equipment behind creates an environmental monstrosity. If you choose to crab, please take every single piece of equipment and rubbish home with you.

Our harbour is not a dumping ground. We collect and dispose of these daily.

Ilfracombe has been at its very finest this evening, warm, welcoming and caring.

Days like today, when we’re joined aboard our little boat by some of the wonderful people who make our town so special, sharing a once-in-a-lifetime moment together, are truly unforgettable.

A huge thank you also goes to our hardworking team and their families for their continued support and everything they do behind the scenes.

All proceeds will go to North Devon Hospice 💙

Cash is preferred and can be placed directly into our collection bucket. Please remember—never look directly at the sun without suitable eclipse glasses!
