Winter sun without a marathon flight? Here are four I'd look at first from East Midlands. ☀️

🏝️ Canary Islands: around 22°C in November, about 4½ hours. Choose the south for beach weather.

🌴 Cape Verde: around 26°C, about 6 hours. TUI flies to Boa Vista from East Midlands. Can be breezy.

🇲🇦 Agadir: a NEW weekly Jet2 flight from East Midlands from November to March. One flight day a week, so dates are fixed.

🐠 Egypt (Hurghada and Sharm): new Jet2 winter flights. Great for all-inclusive and snorkelling. Always check the FCDO advice for your resort area first.

February half term is 15–19 February 2027. 📅

I know. It's November and it's dark at 4pm. But it's the best time to
start looking, because the choice for that one week is widest now and
gets narrower as we head into the new year.

Here are four places I'd check first for families flying from East
Midlands:
