It’s been 15 years since I was last in Venice — and this visit felt like a different city entirely. The cruise ships that used to crowd the port are gone now, and instead of racing between the big sights, I had time to wander further than before and lose myself in the quieter corners. If your last trip to Venice was rushed, it might be time to go back.

Luxury Maldives with business class flights
From just £7,160 per person

This is an incredible price for a truly luxurious Maldives escape
— flying business class, with seaplane transfers, a lagoon villa and premium all inclusive all included.
Spend seven nights at the five-star Finolhu Maldives, a luxury resort that offers something genuinely different. I have a huge 40% discount on your stay. Finolhu is playful, stylish and effortlessly luxurious, with just 125 beautifully designed villas scattered along the beach and across its turquoise lagoon. Your villa places you directly above the water, with ocean views, steps leading into the lagoon and a wonderfully private setting.
The island is also home to one of the longest sandbanks in the Maldives, stretching for almost two kilometres through the Indian Ocean. Follow it to the iconic Crab Shack, where long, lazy lunches are served with your feet in the sand, a chilled glass of rosé in hand and spectacular lagoon views in every direction. It’s one of those places that captures everything you imagine a Maldives holiday should feel like.
Dining is a real highlight at Finolhu. Alongside the Crab Shack, you can enjoy international favourites at Beach Kitchen, contemporary Asian cuisine at Kanusan and Middle Eastern flavours at Arabian Grill. Unlimited à la carte dining, allows you to experience the resort’s excellent restaurants without thinking about the final bill.
Finolhu is set within Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its pristine reefs, exceptional biodiversity and extraordinary marine encounters. October falls within manta season, offering the possibility of snorkelling among these magnificent creatures as they gather to feed. Witnessing manta rays in Hanifaru Bay would be an unforgettable addition to an already exceptional holiday.
Your luxury escape includes:
* Business Class flights from Manchester
- Return seaplane transfers
* Seven nights in a Lagoon Villa
* Premium All Inclusive
From £7,160 per person
Price based on 2 adults departing 16th October 2026 from Manchester.

When temperatures soar in the UK, it’s easy to assume your only holiday option is somewhere even hotter. But that’s definitely not the case.

If you’d rather swap heatwaves for fresh mountain air, crystal-clear lakes, incredible wildlife or comfortable sunshine, there are plenty of destinations that are at their very best in July and August.

From the alpine scenery of Slovenia and Switzerland to the dramatic fjords of Norway, the turquoise lakes of the Canadian Rockies and the winter sunshine of Mauritius and South Africa, these destinations prove that summer holidays don’t have to mean 35°C+ temperatures. 🏞️

I’ve recently had 2 families exploring Sri Lanka (one of my absolute favourite places ever!) and they’ve loved it so I thought I’d share this brilliant trip for October half term.

Departing 22 October 2026, follow a handcrafted route from the Cultural Triangle to the coast: explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, climb iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, ride one of the world’s most scenic trains into the tea‑clad hills of Ella, hike Little Adam’s Peak and tour a working tea factory.

Then slow the pace right down with five nights at a 5-star beach resort in Kalutara, where palm‑fringed sands and lagoon‑side pools are made for family time.

10 nights from £10,476 total for a family of 4 in 2 rooms, including driver‑guide, key entrance fees, Minneriya jeep safari and a mix of half board and bed & breakfast stays.

Message me to secure this Amazing Sri Lanka half term escape.
