I've been banging on about hand luggage-only travel for a while now, and it really does change the way you holiday. Plan your outfits before you pack, pack versatile pieces that work across multiple days, use compression bags to maximise space, and don't be afraid to use local laundry services — especially in South East Asia, they're brilliant.

I know half term planning can feel overwhelming — so let me make this easy.
