Some of the best memories we make as a family happen when we’re away together.

Working in travel, I’m lucky enough to spend a lot of my time talking about incredible places and experiences , but travelling with my own family will always be one of my favourite parts of it.

There’s something special about seeing a destination through your child’s eyes.

The excitement of the journey, experiencing somewhere new, trying different foods, discovering other cultures and those little moments that you could never really plan for.

Family travel has always been something I value and make time for. Life moves quickly, children grow up, and every trip becomes another collection of stories and memories we get to share.

It’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about what I do.

Earlier this year, Tye (my son & colleague!) won a stay with Myconian Collection after arranging a large corporate booking at another of their properties, and recently he and his partner finally got to enjoy the prize at Myconian Deos in Mykonos 🇬🇷

Myconian is a collection of five-star boutique hotels across the island, and Deos certainly delivered. Every room comes with either a private pool or hot tub, making it a brilliant choice if you’re looking for that extra touch of luxury in Mykonos.

One detail they particularly appreciated was the complimentary, unlimited transfers down to Mykonos Town, including the Tuk Tuk pictured! 🛺

It’s also another property we can now recommend based on first-hand experience. Tye has stayed there, experienced the service and facilities himself, and can share those little details you simply don’t get from looking at a hotel online.

A day onboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection⚓️

I was recently invited onboard one of The The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, along with a group of other luxury travel specialists, for a chance to explore the yacht, see the facilities and enjoy lunch onboard 🍽️

It was an incredible day and a fantastic opportunity to experience the yacht first-hand.

I think it’s absolutely valuable to be able to step onboard, see the cabins, experience the spaces, get a feel for the atmosphere and understand what the experience is actually like.

It means that when a client asks me about The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, I can now speak from personal experience and make recommendations based on what I’ve seen and experienced myself.
