Swipe to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Kiswah — the sacred cloth that drapes the Holy Kaaba 🕋
Every year, a brand new Kiswah is carefully crafted and placed over the Kaaba in Makkah. Made from pure black silk and adorned with gold and silver thread, the Kiswah carries verses from the Holy Quran — each letter stitched with precision, devotion, and honor.
Here's what you're looking at in this carousel:
🔹 Slide 1 — The Hizam (belt) band with Quranic verses in gold calligraphy, along with the iconic medallions

The Kiswah weighs approximately 670 kg, uses 120 kg of gold thread, and takes over 200 craftsmen an entire year to complete.
Standing before it during Hajj or Umrah is an experience that words simply cannot describe. You don't just see it — you feel it.
