Want some Disneyland Paris top tips? 🪄

We had a super fun (yet slightly exhausting!) mini break to Disneyland in Paris a couple of years ago, so I thought I'd share some of our learnings...

And don't forget to scroll across to see what accommodation and travel options there are for it (I've listed them in price order - highest to lowest!)...➡️

🤩 Download the app - this is your way to access all the key information from pre-booking restaurants to seeing the queue wait times and when the shows/parades/fireworks are on
🤩 Decide if the fast-track 'premier access' will be worth the money it costs. Yes, you can queue jump, but only once for each ride per day!
🤩 If you stay at any of the Disney hotels (above ⬆️) then you get access into the park at 8am - 1hr before the park officially opens! This is a key-time to get on the popular rides and reduce the wait time! One morning, we managed to go on 5 rides before 9am!
🤩 If you have older children, they may prefer the Disney Adventure World where the bigger rides are (we spent most of our time here) but be sure to check their height first - 1.4m is the tallest they need to be
🤩 There are better queueing times later on in the evening - the park closes at 10pm, so if your kids (and you!) can manage it, keep them up to benefit!
🤩 The food & drinks are expensive - take snacks (and lots of them) and refillable water bottles as there are water stations dotted around both parks
🤩 There is A LOT of walking/standing - comfort is key here! And you can hire a buggy for the younger kids who tire quickly
🤩 The hotels in the park (not the self-drive options) have shuttle buses to the park which run regularly. The closest hotel is the Disneyland Hotel followed by Marvel & Newport Bay Club

Is Disneyland Paris worth it? 🏰

Have a scroll - I think the cheesey smiles say it all!! 😁

We chose the Marvel hotel which was bang on for my son’s interests at that age. A brilliant set up that just kept on giving with the theme! 🤩 Paired with the fact that it was only a 10-min walk to the parks - it was the perfect option for us!

So…is it worth it?!

❓Is it hectic? Yes!
❓Do you hit 10k steps in 1-day? Yep - and more!
❓Are there long queues? Yeah at peak times
❓Are the Disney hotels that good? Hell yeah!
❓Do you need more than one full day? With 2-parks to get around, you definitely do!
❓Will the parks/rides meet everyone’s needs? Oh yeah!
❓Can you get there easily? Yep - what’s your favourite mode of transport?

Anything else??

I’ve been there, stayed there and got all the memories! And yes, they were magical ✨

Would I do it again? Yeah, I probably would you know!
