Planning Umrah in 2026? Save this guide and avoid these common mistakes during your Umrah journey:

• Avoid touching the Kaabah, Hajr-e-Aswad, or Maqam Ibrahim while in Ihram if doing so could result in transferring perfume to your Ihram, as applying or receiving perfume is prohibited during Ihram.

• Don’t focus only on the rituals. Understand the meaning behind Tawaf, Sa’i, and your ibadah.

• Don’t rush Tawaf or Sa’i. Take your time, stay focused, and avoid unnecessary distractions.

• Respect the Haram. Lower your voice, avoid pushing, and be patient with fellow pilgrims.

• Make plenty of Dua. Prepare your personal Dua list before Umrah so you don’t miss this special opportunity.

• Maintain Wudhu during Tawaf. If your Wudhu breaks, renew it and follow the applicable guidance before continuing.

• Avoid shouting “Duas” in the group during Tawaf. Make your Dua calmly and personally without disturbing other pilgrims.
