The modern world is wonderful in so many ways, and it is also increasingly complicated, stressful and demanding on our attention, energy and thought processes.

Before we know it we're so caught up in running around we become disconnected from nature and the slower rhythms of the world without even realising it.

Stepping into the wild, feeling the fresh air in your lungs and being in a new environment with a new culture can do brilliant things for our mindset. Whether it’s standing at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, trekking ancient Himalayan trade routes, or watching the sun rise over the Mongolian steppe, nature has a way of putting things back into perspective.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage you to step outside and let nature in.

With summer on the horizon, Europe’s peak holiday season is rapidly approaching.

With prices generally rising across the continent, it can be challenging to find a good value break, but one country sitting at the crossroads of Europe and Asia does offer a refreshingly affordable alternative…. Georgia.

Seaside resorts are cheaper, food prices are more favourable, and some of the best activities don’t cost anything at all.

Diverse landscapes range from Black Sea beaches to the Caucasus Mountains, traditional cultures continue to thrive, and prices are significantly lower than those in better-known nations further west. A low cost of living, favourable exchange rates, and low taxes are all to thank.

We have culture & hiking tours in Georgia, showing you the very best of this region.

Wild rhinos return to Uganda 🦏

After more than 40 years as part of a major conservation project to restore the species in Kidepo National Park.

Two southern white rhinos were recently translocated from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to a newly secured 1,600-acre protected area, carefully prepared with fencing, monitoring systems, and habitat assessments to support long-term survival. The initiative is part of Uganda’s wider national rhino conservation strategy, focused on rebuilding population numbers, strengthening anti-poaching efforts, and creating sustainable habitats for future reintroductions.

We visit the Ziwa sanctuary on our Wildlife of Western Uganda tour, where you can still trek these animals on foot with a ranger to see the breeding project firsthand.

It’s a rare opportunity to see these rhinos in the wild.

Our 2026 adventures in one of the last great frontiers of the earth.

Step back in time and experience life through the eyes of a nomadic people who embrace a beautiful culture inextricably tied to the natural world.

If a Mongolian family owns tavai tolgoi mal (five-animal herd) of sheep, goat, camel, horse and yak/cattle, they are considered wealthy indeed - for visitors to this magical country, however, its true wealth lies in a simpler way of life that touches the spirit of the nomad in us all.

We have four confirmed journeys into the heart of Mongolia’s culture and wilderness - from horse riding with nomads, herding reindeer with the Tsaatan tribe, or attending the spectacular Eagle Festival and Naadaam festival.

Find out more and get in touch with our team.

Imagine standing in the middle of the Patagonian steppe, and then you see it.

A flick of a tail, a pair of amber eyes...

There’s nothing quite like the adrenaline hit of spotting a puma in the wild. And that's exactly what has inspired our new tour - The Pumas of Patagonia 🇦🇷

You'll begin with the vibrant energy of a Buenos Aires city tour (think elegant streets and world-class steak) before swapping the city lights for the stars of the south. We’ll spend 10 nights deep in the Argentine wilderness, tracking pumas with the experts who know these lands best.

This trip is about getting your boots dirty and seeing nature exactly as it’s meant to be.

If Georgia isn't on your hiking radar yet, it should be 🇬🇪

This is a land of glaciers, snow-capped peaks and dramatic waterfalls.

We’ve officially confirmed two dates for our 2026 Hiking Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains trip, one to experience the summer lushness and one to be surrounded by autumnal leaves 🍂

We’ll be trekking to the foot of Ushba, exploring the cobblestones of Tbilisi and sharing meals with local families in the heart of the mountains.

Between the mountain air and the endless supply of local wine and khachapuri, it’s the ultimate reset. Which season are you picking?

Embark on an extraordinary adventure to visit the Tsaatan Tribe, the revered reindeer herders of Mongolia.

Our clients, Paula and her friends, did just that.

As you can see from the photos, they had the time of their lives, and Paula said that riding the reindeer was one of the top experiences in her life.

This part of the world is one of the last great frontiers on Earth, so it offers a rare opportunity to step into the nomadic lifestyle around natural surroundings.

The Tsaatan people have crafted a unique existence alongside their majestic reindeer herds, and the expedition goes beyond the ordinary, providing a window into their timeless traditions and the connection they share with the land and its wildlife.

We’re running this adventure this summer and it’s not too late to join us. Head to our website to view the full itinerary.
