That's right, 8 minutes. Barely enough time to have your morning coffee on the way. On top of that, we have the parking space to fit large trailers and several cars. If you have a race weekend coming up, we'd be happy to host you 🏎️

The Stables at Louth is the perfect base for a break in Lincolnshire. The historic market town of Louth is just around the corner 🏘️

If you want a piece of history, you could wander into town to take a look at St James' church. It has the tallest Anglican church spire in England, hosting a population of peregrine falcons and you can climb all the way to the top!

Did you know? In 1536 it was the spot where the Lincolnshire rising began ⛪

We're absolutely over the moon with this footage! 🚁

Our good friend Ele from Shoreline Pilates leant us her very talented partner, Richard, for an afternoon over the weekend. Richard took his drone for a run around The Stables at Louth and got some fantastic footage. So if you wanted an early spring tour around our beautiful grounds, this is the video for you! 🏡

Spring is springing! 🌼🌸🥀💐🌺🌼🌸

Last year, we planted thousands of bulbs at The Stables. Over the past week, the first of the daffodils have been popping up and it couldn't look more idyllic. Across the road there are great swathes of daffs lining Horncastle road into Louth - it's really starting to feel like spring is underway.

If you've stopped for a dog-friendly stay at The Stables, you'll want to know where in town you can take your four-legged companion. One of our favourite spots is Beaumont's Fine Food & Drink, with fantastic coffee, sweet treats and a range of food and drink, it's a great place to pop into. Whether you've got a dog with you or not, this is on our must-visit list in Louth!

Given the snow today, it can be difficult to remember that spring is just around the corner. We did get a glimpse yesterday, when the Lincolnshire sky was blue rather than grey and the air was crisp rather than biting cold. 🌤️🏡

Our new signs have now been fitted and they managed to get one day of sunshine before the weather closed in. Winter is magical in it's own way but we're all looking forward to spring blooming... it's not too many sleeps until then! ☀️

As we're based on the outskirts of Louth, we love to engage with as many local businesses as possible. That's why we've been working with The Little Sewing Shop in town to help us to get ready for every new occupant. Through their new laundry service they wash and press each set of bedding with care, ready for use at The Stables.

The shop has a lovely team and we'd definitely recommend them for any and all of your tailoring needs🪡🧵🪡🧵
