We have had a few trips this week, with several nice fish caught. Breaming still a bit slow but some nice fish coming out , they are still spawning in some areas so we are returning as many as possible, plenty of the usual suspects at anchor and the po***ck fishing is still red hot.
We offer 3- 8 hour fishing trips, suitable for beginners or experienced, we can provide tackle, rods and bait with as much help and advice as wanted.

Brilliant 3 days fishing with 3 great crews, amazing weather, plenty of laughs and treated to some amazing po***ck fishing with lots of reef fish to 6/7lbs , bit busy to take many pictures.
Fishing at anchor a little slower but we had a sprinkling of bream, plenty of cuckoo and ballan wrasse, dogs, pout, mackeral, congers and smoothounds.
Great to see dozens of swallows returning and highlight today was the pair of northern divers we spotted.

Absolutely smashed it today!
A nice early start and great conditions we went off in search of some po***ck, first drift bob had a nice one and Les caught a nice fat cod!
Next drift we lost the tide so we anchored over slack ,hopeful of another cod, and we got him, another nice fish, we also had 3 species of wrasse, a dog and a small conger.
Once the tide got away, we moved for the main event, cracking sport with several po***ck every drift with the biggest going 6/7lbs , I even had a nice double shot we also had some sporty bream.
Great company , nice weather and cracking sport!
Finished the day with an hour sightseeing trip and were again blessed with seeing our friendly dolphin.

A wonderful close up encounter with a dolphin this afternoon while out with Jurassic Boat Trips. This playful dolphin 'Bubbles' was swimming around the boat and spraying water at the passengers through its blowhole. A fabulous experience for all those on board. More photos in the comments below.

We had the England fishing team out with us today having a practice for the upcoming world championship.
They fished 2, 75 minute sessions and a 3rd 60 minute session all fished to world championship rules.
Not a great deal of tide for the first couple of sessions but the boys showed there form and winkled out a few fish including Colin and Gareth taking some nice smoothound on very skinny gear and small hooks, with a nice bit of tide for the 3rd 1 hour session the team of 6 managed a staggering 267 fish !! Not bad at a fish each every 90 seconds!!
Once practicing was out the way we popped out for a bit of drifting, everyone having some good reef po***ck and wrasse.
Well over 400 fish caught in the 5 or so hours fishing including bream, mackerel, smoothounds, po***ck, dogfish, pout, poor cod, gobies and 3 species of wrasse.

Nice day out with good company.

First week of the season nearly over and what great weather we have had.
We have had some wonderful families out on our 1 hour sightseeing and fishing trips, mackerel fishing has been rather patchy but there are odd one or two about , the 1 hour fishing trips have proved a great hit with families and little ones.
We have caught some great fish on the 3-8 hour deep sea fishing trips with several of the summer species arriving.
The 8 hour trip today produced a few nice bream, big reef po***ck , bull huss, congers, dogfish, pout and scad.

After a few weeks out the water carrying out annual maintenance and a few upgrades to Susie B, we are back at it from 1st April.
Again, we will be offering 3- 12 hour fishing trips beginners and experienced welcome with bait and tackle available.
Also, 1 hour mackeral fishing, and this year we are offering 1 hour fishing trips , weather permitting we will be drifting an inshore wreck great for those who want to try fishing for the first time, perfect for youngsters.

Absolutely cracking day today well worth braving the cold NE breeze.
The plan was in 3 parts, first to fish last of the tide for smoothounds and whiting , we had a few goer whiting, dogs, small eels and smoothounds to nearly 11lb.
Part 2 drifting for po***ck, we found them and had great sport with Gary taking the biggest at just over 13lbs.
Then part 3 ( which I think in the morning the boys thought I was joking) a look for a bream.
Again we found them, and had a couple of hours of great sport with fish over 2lb, not bad for Feb!!
We also had congers to 40lb, cuckoo wrasse, dogs, pout , poor cod and a thorney ray.
And to finish the day we a dolphin riding our bow wave on the way in.

We are doing 3-8 hour fishing trips all year weather permitting.
With 1 hour fishing and sightseeing trips starting in half term.
