Its that time of year again folks!
We have started seeing a few squid and cuttlefish and as soon as they are here in big numbers I will be running half day squid trips. ( early/mid September)
We can provide tackle or bring your own.

Still running our 3-8 hour fishing trips and there are plenty of really nice bream coming out at the moment.
And we are seeing the first tuna in the bay .
So if you want Squid, bream , bass , tuna or a mix give me a shout .
We can provide all tackle and bait and everyone is welcome .

Finally mackerel !!!!!!
loads of white bait and sandeels in the bay and the mackerel have followed.
Great to catch some of these great sport and eating fish.
Also still loads of bream coming out on the deep sea trips , also the usual bits with congers to 40lb, few bass, huss, various rays and gurnards.
We have a few days off with strong winds but still a few places left during the remaining holiday.

Lovely day today, a steady deep sea with bream, congers scad and dogs caught.
Some mackeral caught on the 1 hour wreck/mackeral trips and dolphins on the sightseeing trips.
Spaces tomorrow then 2 days off with strong winds back at it on thursday .

Some really big bream coming out on our 3 hour deep sea trips , also congers , bass, rays, scad and the usual suspects and some really big mackerel on the bream baits.
Unfortunately the mackerel fishing is extremely slow inshore with only the odd fish being caught, we are however running 1 hour wreck/mackerel fishing trips, perfect for families, youngsters looking to catch a fish, mainly pout but also chance of bream, po***ck, mackerel and scad.
All equipment is provided on both these trips and everyone welcome, individual spaces or full boat bookings.

What a fish!!, a reef po***ck just shy of 8lb taken by this up and coming young angler on his first boat fishing trip on our 3 hour deep sea trip this morning, he and his brother also had congers to over 20lbs, we also had bream, big mackerel, scad, dogs, poor cod and a few pout.
Great fun for beginners or experienced,all equipment included.
Also 1 hour fishing and sightseeing trips.

I fished the minehead species comp last week, again another great fun friendly competition.
First day I managed 3rd on the boat , and won my boat the second day, managed 5th overall and won most species prize ( jointly) .
First class event and can't wait for next year, thanks again to organiser Teddie Boy Fishing Charters , Osprey Charters Minehead and Sofiya Charters for putting us on the fish.

This last few days we have seriously been on the bream, lots of cracking fish over 2.5lbs, also huss, congers, thornback ray, gurnards, lots of scad and a few really big mackerel.
