After carefully considering all options, we settled on a ‘Japan Uncovered’ group tour - one unforgettable journey.
This popular tour brings together Japan’s modern cities, timeless traditions and breath-taking landscapes, following an itinerary that feels very close to Joanna Lumley’s Japan on ITV.
From the neon buzz of Tokyo and the famous Shibuya Crossing to the serene temples and tea houses of Kyoto, every stop reveals a different side to this fascinating country. Days are filled with “wow” moments: seeing majestic Mount Fuji, wandering the peaceful streets of the Japanese Alps, watching the power and ritual of sumo wrestling, and meeting the friendly deer of Nara.
