Caban Teifi is a tiny cabin set close to the owner's house but in it's own private spot, overlooking the Teifi valley, just 30 minutes from the Cardigan Bay coast. Compact it may be but Caban Teifi has all you need for a cosy and enjoyable stay no matter the season. s just asking to be snuggled into at the end of the day you are sure to be comfortable. Explore all that the Ceredigion-Carmarthenshire border has to offer with beaches, harbour towns, the Cambrian mountains and the Brechfa forest all in easy reach. Or stay in the cabin's own garden area, light the firepit and look out for wildlife. Stretch your legs along the many footpaths or bring your (well behaved) dog and let it off the lead in one of the paddocks that you'll have sole use of.

This time last week I was catching up with friends in London (I can heartily recommend Stranger Things stage play, War of the Worlds immersive experience and Lenanese Meze, if any of those are your kinda thing). Thank you H and J for the best weekend away ❤.

By contrast, this morning we took Little Legs for an early walk along the coast path at Cwmtydu and were immersed in the sunshine and sea air and the dappled shade of the woods. The only people we saw were fellow dog walkers, kyakers and a brave bloke on a bike. We did, however, see a seal, the ponies, stone chats and bullfinch.

Easter Sunday by the sea.
Found a lovely spot to sit and savour our hot cross bun / Simnel cake substitute (jam sandwich) while being stared at by a seal and a passing gannet.

Beach day! Or rather, beach lunch after a walk. Tresaith ro Penbryn, made all the prettier by the perfect blue sky, yellow gorse, white may and a few bluebells just starting to flower.
