Season Update 🎣

The fishing on Laxá í Kjós continues to deliver an exceptional July, with the river producing some fantastic numbers so far:

Week 8-15th of July: 136 salmon
Week 15-22 of July: 156 salmon
Week 22-29th of July: 157 salmon

The fish have been taking some incredibly small flies, making for challenging but highly rewarding fishing. With the river now falling and a spell of dry weather ahead, conditions are looking promising for the week to come.

As the water levels settle, we expect the sea trout to become increasingly active and provide another exciting dimension to the fishing.

This is shaping up to be one of the finest Julys we've seen on the river for many years.
