Our group travelled in style by vintage bus to the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, where we enjoyed the incredible opportunity to ride behind the world-famous Flying Scotsman. Seeing this legendary locomotive in action was a real highlight and a memorable experience for everyone.
As well as our journey behind Flying Scotsman, we explored the many attractions around the heritage centre, including the Heritage Bus Depot with its collection of preserved buses and coaches, the miniature railway, model railway displays, museum exhibits, gift shop and café.

Today's trip included a steam train ride and an afternoon in Matlock Bath, with 1946 built ‘Walter’ providing the travel.

🚍 It's been another busy day on the road for our team!
Today, our coaches have been out transporting customers to Skegness, Bridlington, Liverpool, The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Cromford Canal, as well as operating feeder services for Alfa Travel.
A big thank you to our fantastic drivers and couriers who work hard to keep everything running smoothly and safely. 👏
Whether it's a seaside day out, a city visit, or a nostalgic adventure, we're proud to get our passengers where they need to be.

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding part-time role in a unique heritage railway setting?

We’re currently recruiting for Catering and Bar Staff to join our team at Wirksworth Station. This varied role includes serving customers in our station buffet and on board our trains, preparing food and drinks, helping with service setup and clean-down, and creating a fantastic experience for our visitors.

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people with great customer service skills who enjoy working as part of a team.

📅 Weekend availability is essential, with additional opportunities on Fridays and during school holidays.

🍺 Applicants aged 18+ may also have the opportunity to work on our platform or train bars.
