☀️ Inturotel Sa Marina in Cala D'or ☀️
The hotel I stayed at in Majorca

In August, we stayed for 9 nights at this hotel in a 1 bedroom apartment with a garden view.

The rooms are clean and spacious for a family of 4 with a bedroom and living area with sofa beds and kitchenette and ample wardrobe space.

On the same level as our room, there's a water dispenser where you can refill your waterbottle. This was a big plus for me, as not only did it save us from buying water all the time, it's so much better for the environment.

They do self catering here, but we added breakfast on. I'm glad we did as the breakfast was a lovely buffet with plenty of choice including pastries, pancakes, freshly made omelettes, fruit, yoghurt, even sparkling wine (I may have had a mimosa a few mornings). One thing I noticed about the breakfast, is it was nice and relaxed and not too busy.

There are 2 pools that have shallow areas and deep areas, so my boys enjoyed practising their diving. There's also a baby pool. They don't allow some inflatables, only inflatable rings. Even though it was peak season, we never had a problem getting a sunbed.

For the kids, there's play areas and a football pitch plus kids clubs (my boys didn't use the kids clubs, so I can't comment on them)

My favourite thing about this hotel and the main reason I chose it, is the location. It's not far to the centre of Cala D'or, where there's loads of restaurants and the marina, where there's more restaurants. It's also close to mini markets (so you can stock up your fridge) and a couple of coves.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, it's clean throughout and the staff are very helpful and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

🇺🇸🤍 9/11 - Remembering those that lost their lives 25 years ago and not forgetting the survivors. 🤍🇺🇸

I remember it like it was yesterday and remember where I was when I heard about what happened and couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. It's definitely changed how we travel.

I visited New York a few years after it happened and visited Ground Zero, it felt eerie and there was still alot of debris.
I would like to go back to New York and visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

✈️☀️ My holiday to Majorca ☀️✈️

In August, I went on my own family holiday to Majorca as a group of 8 including my 2 children for 9 Nights.

We decided to go bed and breakfast this time and I picked the resort of Cala D'or and I'm glad I did as there are so many restaurants, that we didn't eat out in the same restaurant twice and there was lots of lovely food options - of course I had Paella, Tapas and sangria.

If you haven't been, Cala D'or is beautiful, with a marina dotted with bars and restaurants, sandy coves and lots of shops.

We hired a car for 3 days, where we explored and found a different beach, visited the market at Santanyi and had lunch at the nearby fishing village of Porto Petro.

We also had an evening out at Pirates dinner show and booked a trip to Western Waterpark.

We stayed at a lovely hotel called Inturotel Sa Marina, which ia very central. I'll do another post about the hotel.
