With new rules around travel to the UK and Europe, it’s easy to get
Feeling confused about the new entry requirements for Europe? You’re not alone!

With all the changes to travel rules between the UK and Europe, it’s easy to get a bit lost.

Here’s what you need to know:

From 2nd April, European travellers heading to the UK will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), unless they have a British or Irish passport, are a UK citizen or meet other exemptions. The current cost is £16.

As for UK travellers heading to Europe, there’s no need to worry about the ETIAS just yet – it’s not launching until 2026.

But here’s the catch – scammers are already taking advantage of the confusion with fake ETIAS websites. So how can you avoid falling into their trap?

Remember there is only one official ETIAS website – comment “ETIAS” and I’ll send it straight to you.
