🚨🚨We have been called out to help move passengers from a stranded coach stuck in the road works on the M6 near Penrith. Just waiting for the recovery truck to pull a stranded coach off the live lane at the Clifton Rail Bridge Project (it's not one of our coaches) So we can transfer the passengers to a feeder coach at Knutsford Services.

🚨🚨🎥 We had an Emergency call out today at JD Coaches for stranded passengers stuck in the live lane on the M6 through the Clifton Rail Bridge Project near J40 Penrith. The coach was towed off the live lane, in to the road works, where we transferred passengers on to our coach, to meet a feeder coach at Knutsford Services. We hope everyone has a safe onward journey.

PLEASE DO NOT NAME THE COMPANY as it can happen to the best of us.

☀️With this lovely weather we are having this is a great day out for all to visit some beautiful places that are on our doorstep. We leave Penrith for a scenic drive from Shap along the A6 to Kendal, making our way to Bowness-on-Windermere where you will have free time to explore or take a boat trip if you wish.
Round about late lunch time we travel through the heart of the lake district to Ambleside dropping you off in Ambleside or at Hayes Garden Centre the choice is yours. You will have some more free time to have some lunch and sight see in Ambleside.
After your time in Ambleside we make one more stop at Grasmere, famous for the Sarah Nelson Grasmere Gingerbread, the home and resting place of William Wordsworth and lots of independent business like the locally made chocolate.

WHERE DID WE GO ON OUR MYSTERY TRIP....

Today JD Coaches have been on a MYSTERY DAY TRIP with a bit of a country & garden theme. We like to have a bit of fun keeping our passengers guessing where they are going. We made our way to Barton Grange Garden Centre for a morning coffee stop & a look around, Leading people to think they were going to Blackpool. But we didn't go to Blackpool, we came back north to Holker Hall near Cartmel in Cumbria. We included the entry in to the house & gardens and had the afternoon in the sunshine exploring the stately home.
We would to thank everyone for coming and hope you enjoyed your day, we hope to see you all soon

(car park 1) 🚗 🚎
There is a FREE Park & Ride Bus starting at 6.30am until the end of sale. This is located behind Rheged ( Do not Park in Rheged car park ). This is sign posted from the M6 J40, travel west on the A66 about 1 mile. At the roundabout take 2nd exit signed Ullswater. 200m take the 1st road on the left. Go down the road about 700m & the parking will be on the right hand side.

🚎ℹ️The bus will be every 10 to 15 minutes (traffic depending) or a 20 minute walk.

(car park 2)🚗 🚶‍♂️ (TO BE CONFIRMED)
This is park & walk and is on Mile Lane just past the golf course (12 minute walk)

❗️🚎 THE LAST BUS WILL DEPART 10 MINUTE AFTER THE LAST LOT IS SOLD.
You can bring your vehicles on to site to park after the sale to pay and collect you items.
