The luxury detached cottage sits in a tranquil setting on a small farm. There are fabulous views up and down the Hartoft Dale to the forests and the moors with an outdoor seating area. Recently refurbished, the cottage provides a high level of comfort and cosiness, inclu

ding underfloor heating. You can look forward to a good night’s sleep in a luxurious custom made super kingsize bed. Hartoft has the advantages of experiencing dales, moors, forests, while not being far away from lovely market towns such as Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Malton and Helmsley. The coast is just over half an hour away and the famous historic city of York is less than an hour’s drive. There are numerous footpaths and bridleways from the door, perfect for walking, cycling, bird watching, horse riding, sightseeing, water activities or simply relaxing in general in an idylic environment.

June has arrived and brings with it thousands of red poppies.

The poppies, which can be seen across fields to the south of the House, have returned thanks to cultivation, not using herbicides, and recent hot, dry weather.

We are actively reverting the fields to a species rich parkland landscape, and they will be cut for hay following the nesting season. Over the next few years, we will be lightly grazing the fields with cattle.
