🇭🇷 ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE… I WASN’T READY TO LEAVE CROATIA BEHIND! 💙
There are some trips you enjoy, and then there are trips that leave you already thinking about when you can go back.

Croatia was definitely the second one for me. 🥹

Over the last few days I’ve had the chance to see so much more than the typical holiday highlights — from island hopping and exploring beautiful little bays by boat, to checking out hotels, trying the local food and getting a real feel for different parts of the country.

And that’s the part I love most about travelling as a Travel Agent.

I don’t want to simply tell you that somewhere is beautiful because I’ve seen a pretty picture online. I want to know what it actually feels like to be there, what I’d recommend, who I think would love each area and what makes each destination different.

After this trip, Croatia is definitely somewhere I can talk about from personal experience — and I already have SO many ideas for different types of holidays here. 🇭🇷✈️

Today was spent out on the sea, exploring the stunning Pakleni Islands by private boat. 🌊☀️
We swam in the crystal-clear waters, discovering beautiful hidden coves before stopping for lunch at the legendary Meneghello estate in Palmižana.

The story of the Meneghello family is inseparable from Palmižana. Over generations, they transformed a once barren, rocky corner of Sveti Klement Island into a lush botanical paradise and a celebrated haven for art, culture, and hospitality.

Today, the Meneghello legacy lives on through its extraordinary botanical gardens, art spaces, guest accommodation, and renowned waterfront restaurant.

A perfect day of turquoise waters, beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, and the magic of the Adriatic. 🇭🇷⛵️🌿

Woken this morning to the most beautiful view. I live on an island, but Hvar is definitely somewhere I could see myself living! 🇭🇷❤️
We had dinner last night with the Director of Sales for the hotel chain we’re staying with — seven hotels in total — and, of course, I was subtly angling for a job so I could stay here! 😂

Croatia has absolutely not disappointed, and I will definitely be returning.

Today we’re off to explore the Pakleni Islands before heading back to Split. Another beautiful day ahead! ☀️⛵️

Yesterday (Monday) our day started with a visit to Sinj and visit to the museum which is dedicated to the Knights tournament ‘Sinjska Alka’

🇭🇷 Sinj, Croatia — a charming town in Dalmatia, famous for the centuries-old Sinjska Alka, a spectacular knights’ tournament on horseback celebrating the town’s victory over the Ottomans in 1715. 🐎
Sinj is also home to Our Lady of Sinj, one of Croatia’s most important pilgrimage sites. ⛪✨

We then had a picnic by the river Cetina.

Today was a full-on day of exploring! We started with a guided tour of Split Old Town, taking in its fascinating history, stunning architecture and the stories behind this beautiful historic city.
The waterfront is just a short stroll from the hotel and is full of atmosphere, with plenty of lovely places to stop for a coffee or something to eat while watching the world go by.

After a fabulous lunch, we headed to Trogir, a beautifully preserved historic town on the central Adriatic coast. Situated on a small island connected to the mainland, Trogir is filled with a wonderful mix of Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque architecture.

Next stop was Klis Fortress, perched high above the landscape with spectacular views. The fortress also served as the exterior filming location for the fictional city of Meereen in Game of Thrones, which made the visit even more exciting!

Then it was back to the hotel for a quick refresh before heading out again for dinner at Corte Maltese.

A busy day, but absolutely packed with history, beautiful places, great food and plenty of memories! 🇭🇷❤️

On Saturday I’ll shall be heading off on a really exciting trip! I have been invited to a hosted trip by a Tourist Board, this means I shall be seeing and experiencing so much of the destination that has been on my bucket list for a while and is being organised by the people who know it best!
