Beetlejuice has landed in London… and I can turn it into a theatre getaway 🪲

A London theatre break is one of my favourite ways to turn a night at the theatre into a proper little escape and with Halloween coming up, this one couldn’t be better timed.

🪲 BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE has arrived in the West End!

Big, bold, brilliantly weird and wickedly funny, the hit Broadway musical is now at the Prince Edward Theatre and you can combine the show with an overnight London stay.

🎃 28 October 2026
🏨 Overnight stay at The Royal National Hotel
🥐 Breakfast included
🎟️ Grand Circle tickets for Beetlejuice
🕢 7.30pm performance
Hotel & Show from £134pp

Or make the whole trip easy and add return rail travel from your local station, with packages from £153pp.

Based on 2 adults sharing. Alternative dates, hotels, ticket categories, durations and rail departure stations are available, subject to availability.

And Beetlejuice is just the beginning…
I can arrange London theatre breaks for many more West End shows, so whether you fancy a musical, a family favourite, a special occasion or simply a night away in London, I can put the whole break together for you.

No airport. No luggage allowance. Just London, a great show and a night away. ❤️

Fancy a theatre break?

Drop me a message with the show you’d love to see, your preferred dates and where you’d be travelling from, and I’ll take a look at the options.

Planning Florida? I’ve just made finding your perfect villa a whole lot easier… 🇺🇸

I’ve got something new to share for anyone with Florida on their holiday wish list, a new villa search that you can browse directly through Travel With Me Consultancy.

https://travelwithme.lovefloridavillas.com

I work with a number of different suppliers for Florida holidays, but this gives you another really easy way to have a browse yourself, see what’s available and get some inspiration before we start putting your holiday together.

And this isn’t just for Disney holidays.

Whether you’re dreaming of theme parks, a Florida road trip, a few days by the coast, a pre- or post-cruise stay, or simply a beautiful villa where everyone has space to relax, there’s plenty to explore.

If Florida is on your wish list for 2027, 2028 or beyond, you can browse in your own time, check live availability and start getting a feel for what would work for your holiday.

There is a LOT to choose from.

Think private pools, spas, games rooms, themed bedrooms, resort communities, coastal stays and villas large enough for those big family and multi-generational holidays.

And Florida goes far beyond Orlando…

Of course, there’s a fantastic choice around the Disney & Orlando area, including popular villa communities around Kissimmee, Davenport, Windsor Hills, Storey Lake, Encore at Reunion and Windsor at Westside, perfect if the theme parks are going to be a big part of your holiday.

But you can also explore villas across:

🌴 Florida’s Gulf Coast, a completely different pace of holiday, with beautiful beaches, sunsets and plenty of opportunity to slow things down.

🌊 The Atlantic Coast, ideal if you’d like to combine your Florida adventure with some time by the ocean.

🛳️ Miami & South Florida, particularly worth considering if you’re cruising from Florida and fancy adding a villa stay before or after your cruise.

☀️ Jacksonville & North Florida, another side of Florida to explore and a great option if you want to venture beyond the usual tourist areas.

You can search by travel dates, destination or resort, number of bedrooms, private pool, games room and property name or ID, making it really easy to start narrowing down the options.

Whether you're looking for a smaller home for your immediate family, somewhere to combine with the theme parks, or a large villa where grandparents, grown-up children and little ones can all holiday together, it’s a great place to start.

And this is where booking through Travel With Me Consultancy becomes a little different.

Finding the villa is only one part of a Florida holiday.

I can help bring the rest together too - flights, car hire, theme park tickets, cruise combinations and all those other details that turn a villa booking into a properly planned Florida holiday.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for either.

Have a browse, save the property names or IDs that catch your eye and send them over to me. Or, if hundreds of villas all start looking the same after half an hour (we've all been there!), just tell me who's travelling, your dates, approximate budget and what's important to you, and I can help narrow it down.

Florida is one of those destinations where getting the details right can make such a difference, particularly for families and larger groups.

Fancy a little Florida villa browsing?

See one you love? Send me the property ID and let’s start building your Florida holiday around it.

✈️🌏 Holiday mode: activated…

Several of my lovely clients are heading off on their holidays this weekend and while they’re busy packing, checking passports and counting down the hours… I’m doing what I do best, keeping an eye on their flights! 👀✈️

As an independent travel consultant, my service doesn’t stop once I’ve made the booking, from the initial planning right through to departure, I’m here to make sure everything is running smoothly and yes, that occasionally includes me sitting with my screen open, tracking flights like I’m personally responsible for getting the aircraft there! 😂

And with my own holiday just a few days away, I’ll be swapping the flight tracker for a suitcase very soon! 🧳☀️🥂

Whilst I’m away, I’ll still be here for those clients who are enjoying their holidays whilst I’m enjoying mine, because that’s the personal service I pride myself on. 💙

And for now I’ll also be keeping one eye on the countdown for those of you coming home… because once you’re all safely back, I can finally relax knowing it’s my turn to be on holiday! 😂🌴

When booking with me, you’re not just getting a holiday you’re getting a service from start to finish, with someone who genuinely cares that everything goes smoothly.

So to all my clients travelling this weekend… safe travels, have an amazing time, and enjoy every minute! ✈️☀️🌊

And to those already away… carry on enjoying yourselves I’ve got the flight tracker covered. 😉

Now… where did I put my passport? 😂✈️

✨ DISNEYLAND PARIS 2027/28 IS NOW ON SALE ✨

If Disneyland Paris has been sitting on your family wish list, this is a very good time to start planning.

Bookings are now open right through to 31 March 2028, which means we can start looking at everything from school holidays and Christmas trips to birthdays, special celebrations and that long-promised first visit to see Mickey.

And Disneyland Paris is changing.

❄️ World of Frozen is now open, bringing Arendelle to life with a new attraction, themed dining, shopping and plenty more to explore.

🎬 Disney Adventure World has transformed the second park, making a longer Disneyland Paris stay even more worthwhile.

🏨 Where you stay can completely change the experience.

I have lots of information available on both Disney Hotels and off-site hotels, so we can look at what actually works for your family and your budget rather than assuming the most expensive option is automatically the best.

Stay on-site and you can benefit from things such as Extra Magic Time, easy access to the Parks and that full Disney experience from morning until night.

Or stay off-site and we can look at some excellent alternatives which can work particularly well for larger families or anyone wanting to keep the overall holiday cost down.

🚆 Eurostar or ✈️ fly?
🏰 On-site or off-site?
🍽️ Meal plan or pay as you go?
🎟️ How many Park days do you really need?
⚡ Is Premier Access worth adding?
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Which hotel works best with younger children, teenagers or a larger family?
💰 When should you travel to get better value?

These are exactly the things I can help with.

Disneyland Paris packages can also be paid in instalments, making it much easier to plan ahead for a 2027 or early 2028 trip.

And you don't have to know exactly what you want before getting in touch. Tell me who's travelling, roughly when you'd like to go and your budget, and I can help you work through the options.

There is a LOT happening at Disneyland Paris, so over the next few weeks I'll also be sharing more about:

🏰 The Disney Hotels – which ones I think are worth paying more for
❄️ World of Frozen & Disney Adventure World
👨‍👩‍👧 Best options for families with younger children
🛏️ Off-site hotels and ways to save
🍴 Disney meal plans
🚆 Eurostar versus flying
✨ First-timer tips and how many days you actually need

Thinking about Disneyland Paris for 2027 or 2028?

Send DISNEY in a message to Travel With Me Consultancy with your preferred dates, who's travelling and children's ages, and I'll help you start putting the magic together.

IF I HAD TO PICK ONE CANARY ISLAND… IT WOULD BE FUERTEVENTURA 🏝️

This is probably my favourite of all the Canary Islands. Beautiful beaches, little towns to explore, incredible scenery and that relaxed island feel and in October, when the weather at home is starting to turn, it’s even more tempting.

7 nights All Inclusive from just £529pp

📍 Hotel LIVVO Jandia Golf
3★ Plus | All Inclusive | Based on 2 adults

What’s included?
• Standard double room
• All Inclusive
• Return flights
• 22kg checked baggage + 10kg hand luggage
• 3 outdoor pools
• 2 buffet restaurants & 2 bars
• 2.8km from the beach
• 4.6km from Jandia resort centre

Southern & London departures:

✈️ London Gatwick – £529pp | 7 October
✈️ Bournemouth – £589pp | 4 October
✈️ Bristol – £589pp | 5 October
✈️ London Luton – £589pp | 3 October
✈️ London Stansted – £589pp | 11 October

My tip? Add a hire car. 🚗

Fuerteventura is an island I really think is worth exploring rather than staying in one place for the whole week. Head out for the day, find some of those gorgeous beaches, stop in the smaller towns and see a completely different side of the island.

You’ve still got your All Inclusive hotel to come back to, but the freedom to see more while you’re there.

October sunshine, All Inclusive and Fuerteventura from £529pp, I’d be very tempted by this one.

Want me to price it with a car included? Drop Travel With Me Consultancy a message and I’ll take a look.

Prices correct at 09:25am on 3 September 2026 and subject to availability/change. Based on 2 adults sharing for 7 nights. T&Cs apply. Tourist tax included where applicable.

🇨🇾 Some destinations become part of your story. Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos a hotel with a little history for us

There are certain holidays that stay with you, not necessarily because of one particular moment, but because of how a place made you feel.

For us, Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos is one of those places.

We first stayed here quite a few years ago, when our children were little. At the time, we had no idea that this holiday would be the beginning of our love affair with Cyprus. But it was.

Something about the island just clicked with us. The warmth, the landscape, the food, the relaxed pace of life and, of course, that wonderful Mediterranean sunshine. We came home knowing we wanted to return (and we have many times), Cyprus has been a very special place for us ever since.

When I saw just how much Olympic Lagoon Paphos has changed, I was genuinely intrigued.

The hotel we remember has evolved considerably. Following several significant renovations over the years, the resort has now completed another major transformation for 2026, with all 276 rooms and suites upgraded, alongside a redesigned lobby, a completely refreshed Serenity Spa & Wellness and the introduction of the new adults-only You & Me Bar.

And while it is clearly a very different hotel from the one we remember, it still has that same enviable setting on the Paphos coastline.

The 2026 refurbishment has clearly been about creating a resort that works for different types of traveller.

Families remain very much at the heart of the property, with multiple pools, children's facilities, activities and evening entertainment. This is something I particularly remember appreciating when our own children were young and there was plenty going on, but you could still find time to relax.

What is interesting now is the dedicated adults-only offering within the wider resort.

Couples can enjoy adults-only accommodation and spaces including the Serenity Oasis pool and the new You & Me Bar, while the adults-only Garibaldi Italian restaurant adds another dining option for those looking for a quieter evening.

It means the resort doesn't have to be one thing. It can be a family holiday, a couples escape, a multi-generational trip or somewhere to celebrate a special occasion.

The dining has also been given plenty of attention, with six restaurants and a choice of different styles and cuisines.

Seven Orchids offers Pan-Asian dining, while Garibaldi focuses on Italian cuisine, alongside the more relaxed Rock 'n' Roll Diner, Captain's Deck and other resort dining options.

Seven Orchids and Garibaldi have menus developed with Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser, which is a rather nice touch for an all-inclusive resort.

Then there is the newly redesigned Serenity Spa & Wellness, with ELEMIS and PHYTOMER treatments, as well as facilities including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym.

For me, that combination is what makes the resort particularly appealing now. You can be as busy or as lazy as you like.

And personally, I think that is exactly what a good holiday should be about.

A very special setting for Weddings / Renewal of Vows

The resort has also become increasingly popular as a wedding / Renewal of Vows venue and it is easy to see why.

A Mediterranean backdrop, gardens, sea views and the possibility of watching the sun set over the water make for a pretty memorable setting for a wedding or vow renewal.

For couples who want their renewalof vows, wedding and honeymoon to become part of the same holiday, Paphos makes a lot of sense too.

Paphos
One of the reasons I think Paphos works so well is that you aren't simply booking a beach resort. Olympic Lagoon sits on the seafront, close enough to Paphos harbour and the old town to explore easily, while still giving you that feeling of being able to retreat back to the resort when you want to.

Paphos itself has a fascinating mix of ancient history, coastline and modern Mediterranean life. The archaeological park, with its remarkable Roman mosaics, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while the harbour and castle provide the perfect setting for an evening stroll.

And beyond Paphos there is so much more of Cyprus to discover the Akamas Peninsula, traditional villages, vineyards, mountain landscapes and some beautiful coastal drives.

Then, of course, there is the mythology. Cyprus is known as the Island of Aphrodite, and the connection with the goddess of love is woven into the landscape and history of the island.

It is perhaps one of the reasons Cyprus has always felt like somewhere with a little more character than your typical sunshine destination. And then there is Cyprus… Perhaps the most interesting thing about revisiting this hotel for me isn't actually the renovation. It is the memories.

I can still picture our family holiday here when the children were small. We came to Cyprus for a holiday and left having discovered somewhere that would become much more important to us than that.

This was where we fell in love with Cyprus. Years later, the children are grown, the hotel has changed considerably and Cyprus has changed too but the reasons we loved it in the first place are still there.

The coastline is beautiful. The history is fascinating. The food is fantastic. The people are warm and welcoming. And there is something wonderfully uncomplicated about a few days in the Cypriot sunshine.

Whether you want to spend a week doing very little, explore the island, enjoy good food and a little luxury, or simply have somewhere beautiful to come back to at the end of the day, Paphos gives you plenty of choice.

And Olympic Lagoon now feels like a resort that has grown up with its guests.

For families, there is still plenty to keep everyone happy. For couples, there is a much stronger adults-only element. And for anyone who remembers the hotel from years ago, the 2026 transformation makes it well worth another look.

Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos
Five-star, all-inclusive and right on the Paphos coastline, with 276 newly upgraded rooms and suites, six restaurants, five bars, multiple pools, a redesigned spa and dedicated adults-only areas.

For me, it will always be a little more than that. It was one of the first places that showed us what Cyprus could be. And perhaps that is why, all these years later, I still feel such a connection to it.

If Olympic Lagoon Paphos has caught your eye, I’d be very happy to help you explore the options.

Through Travel With Me Consultancy, I can take the time to understand what you’re looking for and help find the right room, board basis and holiday arrangements for you, whether it’s a family escape, couples break, special celebration or simply some sunshine in Cyprus.

Sometimes having someone who knows the destination and can talk through the options makes all the difference.

After last night’s solar eclipse, I couldn’t help but think about Cape Sounio.

Cape Sounio where Greece feels a little bit different 🇬🇷

A place where the sky, the sea and ancient mythology have been part of the landscape for thousands of years.

And then there is the Temple of Poseidon. Standing high above the Aegean, it watches over the coastline and gives Cape Sounio a backdrop that is difficult to put into words. In fact, the resort is famous for its full-moon views, with the moon rising around the Temple and creating one of those moments you probably remember long after the holiday is over.

This isn’t simply somewhere to go for a week in the sun. It’s somewhere to slow down.
Set within a pine forest reserve on the Athens Riviera,

Cape Sounio has three private sandy beaches, beautiful gardens and that incredible combination of sea and ancient history and despite feeling wonderfully removed from everything, it’s only around 40 minutes from Athens Airport and 50 minutes from the city.

And the accommodation?
This is where Cape Sounio really starts to feel special. The rooms and suites are designed more like private little retreats than traditional hotel rooms, with terracotta-toned bungalows, suites and villas tucked amongst the trees. Many have sweeping views towards the Aegean and Temple of Poseidon, while the newer accommodation collections take things up another level, with floor-to-ceiling windows, private pools, gardens and beautifully considered interiors using wood, marble and natural tones.

And then there is the new Villa Poseidon, a seriously impressive private villa with its own pool, generous outdoor space and uninterrupted views across the Aegean towards the Temple.
It’s luxury, but it doesn’t feel flashy.

And the food?
This is definitely not a resort where dining feels like an afterthought. There are five restaurants and three bars, with the food centred around fresh, seasonal Mediterranean flavours and locally sourced ingredients. The resort even has its own chef’s garden, growing organic fruit and vegetables.
One of the standouts is Yali, sitting right on the waterfront.
Think fresh seafood, the catch of the day, a chilled glass of rosé and the Temple of Poseidon in the distance. There’s also the Aegean Grill for more relaxed dining, alongside other restaurants and bars offering everything from Mediterranean dishes to cocktails and summer evenings accompanied by jazz and Latin music.

And I love that the food experience isn't just about fine dining. There are olive oil and spirits tastings, picnics amongst nature and experiences designed around Greek food and traditions.

Then there’s the wellness side...
Cape Sounio has recently introduced a completely revamped spa and its Elevations of Wellness programme with Vicky Vlachonis, alongside a new sea-view gym surrounded by pine trees. There are treatments, yoga, guided hikes and meditation experiences including walks towards the Temple of Poseidon. It feels very connected to the setting rather than simply being a spa added to a hotel.

And perhaps that is what makes Cape Sounio so appealing.
You could spend the morning swimming in the Aegean, lunch overlooking the sea, wander through the ancient landscape in the afternoon and then watch the sun disappear behind the Temple with a drink in your hand.

Or you could simply do absolutely nothing. Both sound pretty perfect to me.

Cape Sounio has also been recognised in Tatler’s 101 Best Hotels in the World 2026, and honestly, when you look at the setting, it’s not difficult to see why. Temple. Sea. Pine forest. Greek food. Ancient mythology. Beautiful accommodation. And that Aegean light. This is the kind of Greece that stays with you.

And if you’re looking for something a little more special than the usual Greek holiday, this is definitely one I would have on the list.
