🌟 Memories of Makkah & Madinah — November 2009 🌟

In 2007, I asked my beloved father to come visit us in the UK.
He gently replied:
“Son, I’ve travelled during my military service. Now, my heart only desires to perform Hajj.”

He applied for Hajj in 2008 but, unfortunately, didn’t receive a visa.
In 2009, both my father and mother were blessed with approval — and by Allah’s mercy, I joined them too.

That journey was the most spiritual, peaceful, and unforgettable experience of my life.
Standing on the plains of Arafat, making dua with my parents, and circling the Kaaba with tears in our eyes — I will never forget those moments.

Then came Madinah…
The moment we entered the city of the Prophet ﷺ, an indescribable peace took over my soul.
Sitting in the shade of Masjid al-Nabawi, sending salawat at the Rawdah, and whispering prayers — it felt like my heart had finally come home.

In 2017, I returned for Hajj again — this time with my wife and family.
It was during this trip that the idea for
Al Madina Hajj & Umrah Tours Ltd
was born — to make this sacred journey easy, smooth, and spiritually fulfilling for others.

Alhamdulillah, today we are proudly registered on the Nusuk platform and are official tour partners with Rafaf Mina Company as licensed guides.

Since then, I’ve had the honour of returning to the holy cities in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2024, and now again in 2025 — guiding groups from all walks of life.

Each journey reminds me:
“This is all from the duas of my parents.”

Memories of Makkah — November 2009

Back in 2007, I asked my dad to come visit us here in the UK. However, instead of coming to visit, my dad told me that he had a greater wish—to perform Hajj. Having served as a military personnel, he had traveled to many places , but he felt that undertaking Hajj was the most important journey he wanted to make in his life.

He submitted his application for Hajj 2008, but unfortunately, he did not receive the visa that year. For Hajj 2009, both my late dad and my mother put their applications forward, and by the grace of Allah, they were chosen to perform Hajj that year.

Late in September 2009, I decided to join them on this sacred journey to perform Hajj together. By Allah’s grace, I was able to perform Hajj alongside my parents. It remains my best-ever journey, filled with immense joy, peace, and happiness. The experience was beyond words—standing together at the plains of Arafat, feeling the weight and beauty of the prayers, and witnessing the unity of millions of pilgrims from around the world was truly humbling.

I remember the moments of reflection while walking around the Kaaba, the spiritual energy that filled the air, and the tears of gratitude streaming down our faces. Sharing these moments with my parents made the experience even more special and meaningful. Their dedication and faith inspired me deeply, and I felt blessed to be a part of such a transformative journey with them.

The second time I performed Hajj was in 2017, accompanied by my wife and other family members. During that pilgrimage, I was inspired to establish my own travel and tourism company, Al Medina Hajj and Umrah Tours Limited, to help others fulfill this blessed journey with ease and comfort. It was a dream born from my passion and love for this sacred pilgrimage and my desire to serve fellow Muslims on their spiritual journeys.

Since then, I have returned to Makkah in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2024, and now again in 2025. Each journey to Makkah has deepened my faith and reminded me that it was truly the prayers and blessings of my parents that enabled me to perform my prayers and carry out my daily life activities. Every visit has brought new lessons, new moments of humility, and new opportunities to renew my connection with Allah.

May Allah reward my late dad with the highest rank in Jannah and bless my mother with a long and healthy life. I pray that my journey, and the work I do through my company, continue to honor their legacy and inspire others.

I will be leading a group of pilgrims to Makkah with Al Medina Hajj and Umrah Tours Ltd for the blessed journey of Umrah and to visit the sacred sites.
