Founded in 1957, PGL is the UK’s leading provider of activity courses and holidays for schools, colleges, youth groups and individual children and young people, with centres spread across the UK and France. In addition to adventure courses, we also operate a programme of cultural, language and sports tours for schools at centres in the UK and France. In winter, we also operate inclusive ski and snowboarding packages to well-known European resorts. PGL is widely recognised as the UK’s original and biggest operator of summer camps. In this context our name became known as “Parents Get Lost”, but we now also operate a programme of family holidays so that parents can come too!

After noticing increasing barriers getting in the way of children experiencing outdoor learning opportunities, we embarked on a mission to make adventure more accessible.

We developed SEND Inclusive Adventure specifically for SEND and ASN students, which allows them to take on activities at their own pace.

While The Breakthrough Fund tackles financial barriers and provides vital funding to schools and pupils who need it most.
