Not long now! Our special 5-hour seabird and whale watching boat trips launch on Friday 10th July.

These longer experiences allow us to travel further offshore to where the wildlife action is happening. Marine mammals are already arriving. Minke Whales have been spotted in the area, and there has even been a rare sighting of a Humpback Whale in our waters. Bottlenose Dolphins and Harbour Porpoises are also active.

We usually encounter incredible seabirds, including Atlantic Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills, Fulmars, and thousands of spectacular diving Gannets.

Only a few days until our Turtle Dove party! 2026 is our North Yorkshire Turtle Dove Project www.northdove.co.uk tenth birthday year! We started in 2017 working as volunteers conducting surveys, carrying out conservation work and raising awareness & we are still going strong!

Last week saw lots of cetacean activity, including a spectacular appearance by a . whales were also spotted gliding through the waves, and playful Bottlenose were also seen. It is shaping up to be an interesting pre-season already!

Bempton Cliffs Wildlife Photography Events...

We will now be delivering our suite of wildlife photography events for the next 3 months at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. All the seabirds are back on the cliffs laying their egg(s) from Puffins, Gannets, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Guillemots and Razorbills. This nature reserve is an incredible place for wildlife photography.

It doesn't matter what level your photography is at we offer different photography workshops/experiences to suit your needs. From group workshops (4 participants maximum) to bespoke 1:1 or 2:1 photography days.
