Exciting News 🎉 Beer Quarry Caves have officially reopened for the season!
A fascinating local attraction and well worth a visit during your stay.
Step back in time and explore these historic underground caverns.

This Saturday, Beer Quarry Caves reopen for fascinating tours through history and geology. They close each Autumn simply to allow their resident bats to have sole occupancy of the caves!

The team run three tours daily at 10:30, 12:30 and 14:30 and do recommend booking ahead. You can book easily by calling 01297 680282.

Even if you’ve done the tour before, we find that each tour is different depending on the guide and the questions asked, but it’s always tremendously interesting around well lit and cavernous spaces!
