💃🕺❤️ KEEP COSY WITH KINGSHILL – HARROGATE HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS! ❤️🕺💃
And just like that, our Keep Cosy with KingsHill holiday at The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate has come to an end! Where has the weekend gone? It feels like we’ve only just arrived! 😄
But what a weekend it’s been, filled with wonderful dancing, fabulous music, laughter, friendship and, most importantly, YOU, our amazing dancers! ❤️
This was our second visit to this beautiful hotel, and the general consensus from our guests was a resounding “What a beautiful hotel!” 😍 Add a dance floor full of happy dancers, and we think that’s a pretty perfect combination!
A massive thank you to Julie and David Gabriel for providing their wonderful floor, and a very Happy 10th Anniversary to UDF! 🎉👏 Here’s to all the fantastic floors you’ve provided up and down the country, giving dancers everywhere the space to strut their stuff, show off their moves and occasionally forget which foot comes next! 😂💃🕺
🌟 A HUGE WELL DONE TO ALEXIS STRONG! 🌟
Alexis took on her first KingsHill holiday flying solo as DJ and host, and what a fabulous job she did! The dance floor was buzzing, the requests came thick and fast, and the very well-received song swaps kept everyone on their toes. There was plenty of lovely feedback about her clear instruction, wonderful personality and the enjoyment she brought to the weekend. 👏👏
The Saturday and Sunday morning workshops were also very well attended. Clearly, nothing was going to keep our dancers away, not even an early start! 😉 Thank you, Alexis, and we look forward to dancing with you again very soon!
🎶 MORE ROOM, MORE DANCING, MORE FUN! 🎶
Thankfully, we managed to uncover some extra floor space on Saturday night, giving our dancers even more room to enjoy themselves. Because, of course, one dance floor is never quite enough! 😄 And with that extra space came two fantastic sets from the lovely Donna Wylde, which went down a treat! 🎤🎶 A huge thank you to Donna for adding even more sparkle to our Saturday night.
There was also time to put the dancing shoes aside briefly for our Saturday afternoon quiz and cream tea, with around 75% of our guests joining us. Others headed out to enjoy beautiful Harrogate, including a visit to the famous Betty’s! ☕🍰 Congratulations to our quiz winners, The Belles of St Mary’s! 👏🏆
As KingsHill continues to make the most of this wonderful hotel and its amazing facilities, we know there are always things to learn along the way. Thank you for your feedback, your patience and your continued support as we work to make each holiday even more memorable.
