📅 Enjoy this Saturday in Sheffield with a day full of colour, and creativity

Start your morning at the Colour exhibition at The Millennium Gallery – a bright and inspiring show exploring how colour shapes our world.

Then head to Kelham Island calling in at Soho Yard on Bridge Street for We Love What You've Done With The Place, a new exhibition from local artists.

Have lunch at one of the many local cafes around Kelham Island and Neepsend.

Then at 2pm join the Art and Studios Tour – a guided walk through one of Sheffield’s most creative neighbourhoods, where you’ll meet artists, visit working studios and uncover stories you wouldn’t find on your own, led by a local artist. Tickets are £10 and must be booked in advance (https://www.kelhamislandwalks.com/book-a-walk) – places are limited!

Round off your day with a pint in one of the local pubs, such as The Gardeners Rest where the tour finishes.

If you want to know more about real life conservation of our industrial heritage and get involved in industrial archaeology then here's your opportunity. Bower Spring is a really important part of our history and it's great it's being conserved.

Next event at Bower Spring

If anyone is interested, this is a repeat of what was done a few days ago. Feel free to share.

Note - the postcode is correct but ignore any references to Derk Dooley Way?

This is the view from the tenth floor of the tall block of apartments on the corner of Bridge Street and Corporation Street. Great views and they look like lovely flats too
