πŸ’œ A Personal Update from Donna at Seaside Travel πŸ’œ

This is a post I've been putting off writing because, honestly, it makes me really sad.

Many of you know that Seaside Travel is more than just a business to me. It's something I've poured my heart into, and I've loved helping so many of you create special memories through your holidays over the past year.

But right now, life is asking me to slow down.
I've been trying to juggle everything that's going on behind the scenes, and while I've done my best to keep all the plates spinning, the truth is that some of them are starting to fall.

With my wedding fast approaching in August, I need to give myself the time and space to focus on one of the most important moments of my life.

Because of this, I'll be stepping away from taking new holiday enquiries until September.

Please know this wasn't an easy decision to make. I love what I do, I love chatting to all of you, and I genuinely feel guilty for letting anyone down. But I've realised that I can't be everything to everyone all of the time, and for now, I need to put myself and my family first.

If you already have a booking with me, don't worry β€” I'm still here for you. I'll continue to help with any questions, administration, amendments, or changes to existing bookings.

The only exception to my break is if you've already found a holiday online and know exactly what you'd like to book. In that case, send me a screenshot of the holiday and I can still arrange it for you, often saving you some money in the process.

What I won't be doing until September is searching for new holidays, creating quotes, or handling new enquiries.

I feel incredibly lucky to have built such a supportive community around me, and I hope you'll understand why I need to take this step.

Thank you for every booking, every recommendation, every message, and every bit of support you've given me. It never goes unnoticed.

I'll be back in September, refreshed, married, and ready to help you plan more amazing adventures.

Breaking News: Local travel agent discovered she only has 24 hours in a day. πŸš¨πŸ˜‚

Between kids' activities, BMX lessons, football, swimming, school holidays, wedding planning and working full-time in a primary school, my social media has been slightly neglected!

The good news? I haven't forgotten about travel β€” not even for a second. ✈️

I'm still here helping clients find incredible holidays and making travel dreams happen, even if my page has been a little quieter than normal.

I’m heading off on my hen do this Friday πŸ’βœ¨ so the rest of this week will be all about catching up on admin and making sure all of my lovely customers have everything they need before I go.

If you’ve got a quote sitting in your inbox and you’re ready to book, Thursday evening at 8pm will be my final booking slot before I’m away.

I’ll be out of office until Tuesday 5th May (this will be an admin catch-up day), with new enquiries being picked up from Wednesday 6th May onwards.

I’ll have limited access to emails and Facebook messages while I’m away, so if anything genuinely urgent comes up, please mark your email as URGENT and follow the out of office instructions.
