Set on a low hillside above the harbour at Sisi, Haven Hill is a newly built villa designed with privacy and simplicity in mind. Completed in 2025, the architecture is clean and contemporary, with smooth lines, natural tones and large windows that frame the surrounding landscape. The outdoor spaces are set up for easy, relaxed living, with a saltwater rooftop pool, shaded dining area and plenty of space to spend time together.

Inside, the villa accommodates 14 guests across seven en suite bedrooms, each opening to a terrace with open views across the hills. The layout works well for families or groups, offering both generous shared areas and quieter corners to unwind. A dedicated wellness room with sauna, massage chairs and fitness equipment provides a useful additional space

The waterfront tavernas and small cafés of Sisi are 200 metres away, and Sissi Beach is an easy walk from the villa. Boufos Beach is slightly further along the coast, and the archaeological site of Knossos can be reached in around 45 minutes by car for those interested in Crete’s history. I’m actually amazing myself with my motivation this week. My organisation and planning skills are on point.

Not only am I busy booking your fabulous holidays, I’m multitasking and booking my own too. I’ve never been so organised.

Anyone else feeling like they need to start planning 2027 before winter sets in? I’m already mentally preparing for the cold I know is coming.

I hear so many customers say, “I don’t fancy Turkey.” Let me gently point you in the right direction. Turkey has some incredible high-end hotels, honestly some of the best. Not only that, this side of Turkey is beautiful: scenic mountains, stunning views, blue sea and lovely marinas. Turkey does not have to mean Marmaris, Kusadasi or Side. It can be chic restaurants, stylish beach clubs, high-end shops and incredible jewellery too. Just ask me.

This particular holiday is perfect for those with young adult children. Mine are 19 and 21. We wanted an all inclusive, but this option means we can still head out in the evenings if we fancy. I’ll be spending evenings in Bodrum, Yalikavak and Torba: all absolutely stunning areas.

Our hotel is a Vibe property: think beach DJs, evening DJ sets and a really cool atmosphere, with a sax player for some dinners too. I might be nearly 50, but this sounds like exactly my kind of fun. Nothing beats a sunset DJ, relaxing on the beach, amazing food and great cocktails. I’ll becoming to experience this hotel and also visit LUJO and MAXX Bodrum next June.

Looks like I accidentally pressed book on this holiday in my name😂

Egypt isn’t a place I book, I also know that booking this area it’s crucial I get the right hotels. With the UAE quiet now and customers cautious I feel it’s the right time to go and see a few hotels for myself in the Hurghada region. We all need a Winter sun destination that’s not too far.

I’ll be staying in 2 hotels and 2 areas. One All Inclusive hotel base for 3 nights at the Rixos Magawish Suites and moving onto an area that’s always been of interest if I came to Egypt. EL Gouna. Staying at the Steinburger golf and Spa. Yes it might not be what we all want from a holiday, no culture, no local places but for me I need the new, modern, clean and to feel safer with top dining and service.

El Gouna on Egypt’s Red Sea coast feels like a purpose‑built playground for relaxed, grown‑up holidays. Set between desert and sea, it is made up of tranquil lagoons, marinas and island‑style neighbourhoods, with many hotels offering direct access to the water. The whole resort has a gentle, upmarket feel, ideal for couples, friends and families who like things easy and stress free.
Days here are all about the sea: think golden sunshine, clear warm water and long sandy stretches that are perfect for swimming or simply unwinding on a lounger. The Red Sea is famous for its underwater world, so snorkelling and diving are big highlights, with colourful coral reefs and marine life within easy reach on organised boat trips. For something livelier, there are kitesurfing and watersports centres, as well as sunset cruises where you can take in the coastline from the water.
Away from the beach, El Gouna has a lovely marina and downtown area with cafés, bars and restaurants that come alive in the evenings. I’m searching for my own holiday and I have to say, I’m my worst customer 🤣 I’m very indecisive. Do I go for the quiet islands and more luxury or the bigger busier islands with more going on. Ive always thought Maldives should be kept Maldives. Peaceful and Idyllic. No shows, no waterparks, no horses or go karts. But I understand why many choose this option
