🚨New passport requirements announced by UK Border Force regarding travel to the Republic of Ireland.

If you have a tour with us travelling to or from the Republic of Ireland from 28th September, we will be in touch with as soon as we can.

This news has landed with us at the same time, so we’re currently processing all the infomation and checking upcoming tours.

🚨New passport requirements Irish Sea🚨

From 28 September 2026, all passengers, including Irish and British citizens, travelling between the Republic of Ireland and Britain (both directions) will be required to carry a valid passport.

This is to ensure compliance with UK Border Force requirements relating to the accuracy and integrity of passenger data before boarding.

We encourage all passengers travelling or planning to travel after 28 September 2026 to check that they have a valid, in-date passport (or Irish passport card) before arriving at the port.

Today Ruth celebrates 30 years of dedicated service at Action Tours, and also marks her 40 years of work in travel. Before coming to Action Tours, Ruth was a tour manager for Cosmos & then Fourwinds/Cotsworld travel for 10 years. Ruth feels very lucky to have had such a wonderful career in travel and has met and made some wonderful friends and colleagues over the years.
