From the moment you’re first welcomed with complimentary home-made cake by Rachel and Gerry, the on-site owners, Burlton Cottages offer idyllic, unspoilt escapism - a perfect rural retreat. Open all year (arrive and leave on dates of your choice), bring the kids (cots, high chair and games available) and bring the dog (enjoy stunning country walks right from your door, with abundant wildlife every step of the way).

We’re delighted that our local pub has recently changed hands, with Shannon now at the helm. She’s doing a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome and creating a really warm, friendly atmosphere. ❤️

The autumn walks around the farm are lovely at this time of year, with clear fields now that harvest is finished, and our attention turning to next year’s crops. 🌾

Our beautiful countryside setting is perfect for exploring with your dog, but we also understand that there may be times when you’d like to enjoy something that isn’t suitable for your four-legged friend — whether that’s a relaxing spa treatment, a meal out or a day exploring further afield.

We’re delighted to introduce Mary from Holiday Hounds, a trusted local dog sitting service available exclusively for guests staying in holiday cottages across Shropshire.

Mary can provide caring, personalised support in the comfort of your holiday cottage, helping your dog feel relaxed in a familiar environment.
