I have just got back from an amazing week in Sorrento. I stayed at the TUI Blue Atlantica Palace, where we enjoyed amazing Italian meals each night and a few lazy days soaking up the sun in the lemon tree garden or around the pool 🍋
I made full use of the courtesy shuttle bus down into to Sorrento and wandered round the town, ate ALOT of lemon sorbet and soaked up the sun at one of the beach clubs ☀️
We also filled our days with sightseeing and exploring - we booked a TUI experience to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Which was a full day guided tour including lunch - this was such an eye opening insight into a major historical event.
We got the bus into Amalfi, and the views were incredible 😍 We spent the day on the beach and exploring - would definitely recommend!
The highlight of our trip was a boat trip to Capri, where we also rode the Monte Solaro Chair Lift - an absolute must do!!!
Our final day in Sorrento we spent in the hills at a cooking class with a lovely Italian lady who taught us how to make Tiramisu, Ravioli and Tagliatelle - we got to eat what we made accompanied with wine 🍷 It was the perfect end to a perfect trip.
