🏰 A morning exploring historic Carlisle…
An early start on the road, followed by a wander around two of Carlisle’s standout landmarks: Carlisle Castle and Carlisle Cathedral.
From the imposing red sandstone walls of the castle to the incredible interior of the cathedral, there’s a lot of history packed into a relatively small area.
And that cathedral ceiling… absolutely stunning! 😍
It’s exactly the sort of place I enjoy exploring for MAJ Travel. A destination where you can slow the pace down, have a wander and discover some fascinating places along the way.
