Well, you're in luck! 🍀

Taunton Film Festival begins next Wednesday with a screening of the 1935 classic Top Hat at the historic Wyndham Hall 🏛️

🎥 This will be followed by evening screenings of The Third Man, Far from the Madding Crowd, Billy Elliot and Cinema Paradiso throughout the festival.

🦚 One film holds a special connection to Taunton. Billy Elliot was directed by Stephen Daldry, who attended Richard Huish Grammar School and began his theatrical career with Taunton Thespians before going on to international acclaim 🌍

🌟 Don't miss this celebration of cinema, local heritage and storytelling in a beautiful historic venue right in the heart of Taunton.

🎟️ At just £5 per screening, it's a fantastic opportunity for film lovers to enjoy some timeless classics on the big screen.

Hidden away behind the The Museum of Somerset, you'll find one of Taunton's most legendary attractions... the Sword in the Stone!

According to Arthurian legend, whoever can pull Excalibur from the stone is the rightful ruler of Britain. Many have tried, but have any succeeded? 🤔

Forget about your worries and your strife and head out for a family adventure at English Willow! 💚

Step into the world of The Jungle Book and follow the trail through the beautiful willow grounds, spotting all your favourite characters along the way. Can you find them all? 🐘🐍🐻
