Kathryn Alexander Tour Guide Weekly heritage walks of Totnes, April to October. On demand tours and walks of Totnes, Dartmouth, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton, year-round.

Dartmoor sightseeing/easy walks. Also available for work in Cornwall. Event hosting/hospitality services too. I have been tour guiding since 2003, starting my career in Plymouth, my home town. I was living between Australia and UK at the time and undertook my formal guide training in Sydney, but finally moved back to Devon permanently in 2005, settling in Totnes. I worked for English Heritage for

four years and also set up my weekly walking tours of Totnes (I also took on a pub, which my husband and I still own). Throughout all, I make guiding, history and heritage my passion and priority; I want everyone to love Devon and Cornwall as much as I do and aim to bring a local perspective to the visitor, whilst helping locals see their home through fresh eyes.

Our stroll around this fascinating town will take 2 hours, meeting at 1.45 for 2pm in the Royal Avenue Gardens, this Saturday, 6th June. The Knife Angel in Royal Parade, Plymouth. This statue is touring the country to highlight knife crime and help with campaigns to prevent it. Created by artist Alfie Bradley at the British Ironwork Centre from blades surrendered across the UK. It's only there til 30th March, so try to catch it. Especially moving at dusk with changing colours and lights.
